Solutional thinking has been a recent exploration and adaptation of mine and it has not been easy.
Within I am getting to a point where I have almost mastered the process of finding solutions and better feeling thoughts when it come to an inner conflict or situation that is affecting me.
Outside of myself though, especially when working in teams or group settings finding solutions amoungst a sea of others egos, emotions, cliques and opinions is a much harder accomplishment.
Additionally where a strict disagreement comes to impass it seems people want to hang on to every inch of their proposed solution as opposed to giving a little bit up so that a compromise can be found.
I think this isn't a reflection of the solutional attempts but instead a reflection of how we as a people have not been taught to compromise, or find peaceful solutions. We are instead given examples everyday of even our leaders starting wars as opposed to meeting half way.
Imagine if everyone was taught solutional thinking within groups in school. The whole world could be a much better place if we had this one skill embedded into our cultures.
