There is a research coming out of the University of Windsor involving athletes with disabilities and their respective psychological skills training program: https://www.learnpst.com/

Participation in the study requires the athlete to watch 8 online modules and respond to a questionnaire. Each module is designed to teach you a different psychological skill including goal setting, imagery, self-talk, routines, concentration, emotion regulation, psyching up, and relaxation. The goal of the program is to eventually deliver and evaluate a long-term psychological skills training program. Results of the study can be found by contacting [email protected] or [email protected]

The creators of the modules are a group of  world class researchers at the University of Windsor and Wayne State University.

Trying to figure out ways to celebrate National AccessAbility Week? Check out these suggestions! #accessibility #RedShirtDay
. . .
#inclusion

National AccessAbility Week is here! 🎉🥳🎉
Let the celebrations begin and let's come together to each do our part to make Canada more accessible and inclusive for everyone!

Here are a few suggestions for how to get started:
1. Wear red and make a pledge: Wear red on Red Shirt Day - June 2 - to celebrate people living with disabilities and their families and pledge to help make your school, community or workplace truly inclusive and accessible. Post your picture and pledge with #RedShirtDay and #RedForAccessAbility

2. Learn and take action: Attend one of our free webinars this week about the Accessible Canada Act or Disability Inclusion in the Workplace (sign up here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/o/easter-seals-canada-29157317445). Then, apply what you've learned to promote accessibility and inclusion.

3. Spread the word and have fun: Tell your friends and family about National AccessAbility and all the fun (and socially distanced) activities available at www.redshirtday.ca. We've got a kids art contest, load of activities, and lists of informative and entertaining books, articles, videos, TV shows and movies to enjoy.

Have a great week, everyone!
