Due to the COVID-19 situation we had to cancel our Election Town Hall. Instead, we have put together a Google Drive folder with all the candidates’ platforms.
The election will still be taking place on March 19-20. You can vote by filling out the online ballot sent to all biomed eng students via cmail.

CUBES Intramural Dodgeball Team Sign-Up

Hey guys!
We are starting a CUBES Intramural Dodgeball team (co-ed) for the winter semester.

When: Tuesday 7-11pm (starting Jan 21, 2020)
Location: Norm Fenn Gym
Season Length: 7 games
All teams/individuals receive t-shirts at first day of games. 12 shirts per team set (6 players/set).

We are hoping to have at least 12 players that will rotate games each week.
The more players that sign-up, the cheaper the cost is for each player ($371.77 total).

This is a great way to have some fun, meet new people and stay active!

Woah there, Carleton Engineering student! Did you know that C-Eng-C's Programming, Debates and Consulting competitions are happening next weekend from September 28th to the 29th?

Well now's your chance to come out and participate by registering using the google forms below! Registrations close by September 25th, so get your team together!

As well, we're hosting a debates workshop this Thursday to hone your debate skills in time for the competition.

Each competition will challenge you with a focus on this year's theme of 'The Future'. Come on out and make some friends in a fun and safe environment!

Good morning!

You may have heard about our upcoming by-election to fill our remaining roles in our council. We are looking for the following:
-VP Services
-VP Communications
-4th year biomed elec representative
-3rd year biomed mech and biomed elec representatives
-2nd year biomed mech and biomed elec representatives
-1st year biomed mech and biomed elec representatives

Self-nomination forms will be available next week, which you can bring to our Fall Semester General Meeting where the by-election will be happening. Stay tuned for more information about this!

The responsibilities associated with these positions are as follows:

Sec.9. The Vice President Services’ duties shall be:
a. Attend all meetings or submit a written report prior to the commencement of the meeting
b. To facilitate the purchase of all merchandise for the Society, including clothing, patches,
buttons, etc.
c. To poll the general membership on what should be purchased
d. To determine all pricing information for the Society’s sales of merchandise
e. Any other duties as assigned by the executive committee

Sec.10. The Vice President Communications’ duties shall be:
a. Attend all meetings or submit a written report prior to the commencement of the meeting
b. To design and develop the Society’s website
c. To create any graphics needed for the Society, such as logos, posters, pricing sheets,
event banners, and any other required graphics
e. Any other duties as assigned by the executive committee

Year representatives:
a. Attend all meetings or submit a written report prior to the commencement of the meeting
b. Inform classmates of upcoming events via conversation or via classroom talks
c. Poll the represented membership on what they would like to see from CUBES
d. Any other duties as assigned by the executive committee

*Please note that you MUST be enrolled in undergraduate biomedical and mechanical or biomedical and electrical engineering in order to fill any of these roles*
