Yoga Instructor Melissa started attending yoga classes over ten years ago after she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. She felt the physical benefits of the practice immediately and over the next few years was awakened to so much more.

Schedule - Upwarddog Yoga Studio Monday 5:45pm Power Vinyasa - Get ready to build both outer and inner strength. We will link deep breaths with movements as we flow from posture to posture. We will slow things down in order to cultivate greater awareness and truly feel what happening in our bodies. You will be encouraged to practice without expectations or attachments as we breath, feel and be present...and of course sweat:) Tuesday 7:30pm Dynamic Hatha – Students should approach this class with a sense of adventure, be prepared to laugh, to fall, to get back up and try again as we workshop a ‘Challenge pose’. The class takes the students through a series of preparatory poses to gain openness, stability and confidence as we build towards our apex pose (side crane, flying pigeon, compass etc.). Thursday 7:30pm Hatha All levels – Blend of postures, breathing techniques and meditation sequenced intelligently with the goal of inspiring a healthy body and uplifting the mind.
