The CCIRH guidelines are the largest, most comprehensive evidence-based guidelines addressing immigrant health and are designed to help physicians meet the unique health needs of this group. The conditions covered were chosen by family practitioners across Canada because there was a perceived or real equity gap in the immigrant population and for which there were potential interventions to improve health.
