I've noticed recently the attack on good foods and eating well and coconut oil is a recent victim...probably the soy industry attacking again. Ultimately, you decide what goes in your body of course so while you decide I'll enjoy my coconut oil and chill.

How Diet and Nutrition Influences Cancer

My friend Michelle poses a great question. We've both lost loved ones to this disease. I know when I lost my father, nutrition wasn't much of a thought to help combat this disease but chemo and radiation sure were. Recently just lost a friend to cancer. I asked if any dietary changes were recommended when he was diagnosed....nope! We buried him just a few weeks ago. Even cancer experts have said that 70% of cancer is due to poor nutrition. When are we going to wake up to what nutrition can do for us? Probably when we can make lots of money off food but we only have to look at how much farmers make to see how that goes. Good fortune to all!

Eating higher amounts of healthy fats and lower amounts of net carbs, along with moderate amounts of high-quality protein, is the key to fight cancer.

Biggest Loser Ottawa 6 ends today, and after 12 weeks, I've lost 30lbs and 33 inches! I feel amazing and have an entirely new outlook on life. I owe so much to the world's best trainers (Justin, Pedro and Chantale), the greatest nutritionist in Ottawa (if not the world) Andre Dessureau, and the owner of 180 fitness - energetic coach and general life changer, Adrian Delorey. Huge credit also goes to my biggest loser buddies for being so encouraging and Tim Scooby Schofield for being my biggest cheerleader. Woooooohooooooo to all of us biggest losers!!!! We have done amazingly well and I'm so proud of all of us!
