I teamed up with my son, Ben Astorga, to make a video outlining how to strengthen and prevent weak and injured shoulders. He has 16 years of cumulative knowledge in high-performance Men's Artistic Gymnastics and is here to share the techniques he uses every day. All you need is a tensile elastic band (available at any sports store) and you can incorporate these movement in your everyday routine.

"As a national level gymnast, I've had a lot of experience having to deal with shoulder issues and consequently shoulder injury prevention. It is crucial to have exercises that you do routinely to activate, warm up and strengthen your muscles, whether they are strong or not.

Equipment Required
- Exercise band light-medium tensile force.
- I have three different types. light, medium, hard/tough. I pick depending on my feeling!

In this video I include
- General warm-up exercises
- Specific shoulder rotation exercises
- Stretching for before and after a workout or training
