Our cleaning and disinfecting was already up to new Ministry of Health standards. 🤩. We’ve added extra precautions and spaced out our treatments and practitioners more to allow for better distancing and cleaning. We have hand sanitizing stations set up and cleaning tasks and checklists on display.
We are also doing our own reception.

Looking forward to serving you again!

360centre360 is taking bookings for in-person treatments beginning the week of June 1st.

For Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Athletic Therapy, returning to treatment in current states means offering a blend of both virtual and in-person treatments.

New assessments will be virtual (which we have been offering the past three months and been working brilliantly). Follow-up appointments will be in-person.

360centre360 has set up new physical space, processes and practices to ensure compliance with government requirements and college standards for ensuring a safe and clean treatment environment.

Do you ever wake up at night in pain? Are you in pain first thing in the morning? 🤕Does sleeping with the wrong pillow make you feel like you fell out of a 12th story window? 🏥. If you answered yes, your sleeping position is likely a culprit 😴. When you fall asleep in a position that irritates muscles and joints, you spend hours unconsciously creating problems.

WHY?? Sleeping in a curled or crossed limb position can cause compression and irritation of the shoulder girdle, low back, and hips. HOW TO ADJUST: try hugging a pillow to avoid crushing your torso, and placing another pillow between knees to avoid crossing or curling.

The reasons behind why we are subjecting you to our sub par video skills (we are learning!) are to address the key areas of dysfunction we see in most our athletes. (Keeping some of you in mind!)

The challenge at the end involves a key component of the weeks mobility lesson. So keep doing the mobility all week! Not just one and done!

360centre360 continues to provide physiotherapy (PT) and athletic therapy (AT) services for emergent and critical pain, which the Ontario government recognizes as an essential service.

Our in-person treatments are available at our downtown location at 240 Sparks St. and also at our satellite location inside of CANAM Strength and Conditioning at 155 Colonnade Road, Nepean.

The goal here is to keep people away from hospitals.

Situations which could be considered an emergency and therefore warrant in-person treatment include:

-Someone who is currently experiencing incapacitating neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction or pain.

-Any scenario where the inability to initiate care or the withdrawal of care would lead to the significant deterioration of a condition

-Post-operative care immediately following surgery

-Someone who has suffered from severe musculoskeletal dysfunction, pain or burns.

-An individual in an essential service in an acute care setting or other setting deemed to be essential, whose injury or condition requires the input of a therapist to return to work safely as soon as possible.

All non-emergent appointments are still being provided virtually via video.

The goal is to manage and prevent pain from home, getting your body to move the way it was built to - Getting the muscles that are sleeping to wake up and fire again and the ones that are shouting to calm down and work properly. Team work makes the dream work 👊
Here is week 2 ,building on last weeks post. The goal is to do these exercises a few times in the week so your body adapts and is ready for the next series. Do all 6 a few times or choose 2 or 3 to do a day.

Did you know you can improve function, mobility and pain by practicing breathing? 😲️ Breathing affects muscle patterning, just breathing properly can help fix shoulder pain, hip pain, back pain etc.
Try some of these breathing exercises to throughout your day to help mobility and pain. Change your breathing => change how your muscles work!

When you do an exercise you need to brace your core 🏋️. But if you are only breathing through your belly, you can either brace your core...or you can breathe... but you can’t do both. This causes dysfunction.

Goal- check you movement post breathing. Ie- can’t touch toes. Try breathing in a squat then re test- bet you’ll be able to now!

360centre360 is working with CANAM Strength and Conditioning to keep people moving while being confined to their homes.

Working at home has different impacts on your mobility health!
• Different desk-set up (check out these creative desk set-ups (https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/17/business/work-from-home-setups-coronavirus-trnd/index.html)….. and now think about your posture!)
• Less room to move/walk around
• Jumping up instantaneously at the sound of cereal spilling on the floor as your children attempt their own breakfast

Setting an intention and making time to incorporate movement into your day is paramount to keeping your physical health in tact and to keep pain, disease and hidden dysfunctions at bay – because they creep up on us later! A body that moves lubricates the joints, strengthens to muscles through a full range of motion, ensures your body is ready for any position you might put it, keeps everything working optimally. As such, our mental state is better!

At noon today, 360centre360 decided to close until further notice.

Our team of health care practitioners are offering virtual services via video to ensure continuity of injury and pain management and to provide advice and access so that treatment plans can be maintained when in self-isolation.

These sessions will be approximately 15 minutes in length at a cost of $45. Virtual appointments can be made by calling 613.680.0360 or emailing [email protected].
