I have been a resident of Port Elgin since 2003. I have worked in the health care field for approximately 25 years. After starting out as a Health Care Aid I returned to school to complete a Personal Support Worker Program, then on to the Practical Nursing Program @ Georgian College. After working in Long Term Care for a few few years, I furthered my education by completing a foot care course along with attending on going courses and conferences to increase/enhance my skills and knowledge to perform treatments to give clients optimal health whether it is basic, advanced, or diabetic care as well as Laser treatments for certain conditions.
I currently have clinic days @ my house which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I also travel to clients who have impaired mobility or do not hold a drivers licence. Travel days are Tuesday and Thursday.
I love my work because I get to meet so many great people and have satisfaction that I have made a difference in someones day.
I always say that it is our feet that get us to where we are in life and what keeps firmly planted on the ground.
