21 years ago today an earthly angel went to heaven, Mary Kay Ash, the iconic founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics died on Thanksgiving, November 22, 2001, at the age of 83.

After retiring from work life, her idea was to write a book to assist women in their corporate careers. Then, this turned into a business plan to set up her own cosmetics company. With an investment of $5,000, she opened the doors on Friday, Sept. 13, 1963 in Dallas, TX.

Mary Kay Cosmetics is 59 years strong, a debt free company that spans the globe in almost 40 other countries! In 2017, Mary Kay was the 6th largest direct selling company in the world with over 3.5 billion in sales!

Wow. Talk about an amazing weekend with the most wonderful group of women.

We had the pleasure of heading to Bayview Wildwood Resort for our annual retreat, the first in person retreat since cov**. No words can describe what it's like to be surrounded by women who only want to lift you up, inspire you, encourage you, support you and see you succeed. Some of these women I got to meet in person for the first time (we've had zoom meetings for 3 years) and it was exactly what I needed.

The sisterhood in this business or more specifically in this unit is absolutely 💯! I promise you, you will not find anything more real & sincere.
