Maitri - Retreat, Refresh, Renew

Thank you all for your patience with us at Maitri as we navigate in Elaine's absence.

The shop will be open Thursday (July 2) from 10-6 and Saturday (July 4) from 10-3

We will be closed Friday to honour Elaine's family and hold them in our hearts as they host a private service.

There is a memorial table set up for Elaine in the shop that we'd love to have you come in and sign with a message or a memory to pass on to the family. The books will be at Maitri for the next week or so.

Watch for news of what's to come at Maitri in the next little bit.

Hey guys

So excited to see everyone again!

Just want to keep you updated on the changes that will be at Tammy’s Nails when you return!

It is going to mandatory for you to wear a mask when you come to see me at Maitri (207-4 Brockville St) to get your nails done! I will be having to wear a mask as well!

If you could please bring your own I do appreciate that, but if you don’t have one I will supply one for you!

I will be following all the rules and protocols for me to be opening safely.

There are some mandatory questions I have to ask you 24 hours before you come into your nail appointment!

If you can check YES to any of these symptoms. Please cancel your appointment with me and rebook for a future date when symptoms are gone, and you have been tested for COVID-19

Any Ontarian presenting with at least one symptom or sign from the list below should be considered for testing for COVID-19.

Symptoms List

Fever (temperature of 37.8°C or greater)

New or worsening cough

Shortness of breath (dyspnea)

Sore throat

Difficulty swallowing

New olfactory or taste disorder(s)

Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain

Runny nose, or nasal congestion – in absence of underlying reason for these
symptoms such as seasonal allergies, post nasal drip, etc.
Atypical symptoms/clinical pictures of COVID-19 should be considered, particularly in children, older persons, and people living with a developmental disability. Atypical symptoms can include:

Unexplained fatigue/malaise/myalgias

Delirium (acutely altered mental status and inattention)

Unexplained or increased number of falls

Acute functional decline

Exacerbation of chronic conditions

Chills

Headaches

Croup

Conjunctivitis

Multisystem inflammatory vasculitis in children

Presentation may include persistent fever, abdominal pain, conjunctivitis, gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting and diarrhea) and rash
