Five ingredients. No baking. 🍫

Date, Tahini & Pistachio Chocolate Bark. The dates provide carbohydrate, while the tahini and pistachios add fats and fibre, making it a more satisfying sweet option.

SAVE THE RECIPE 👇
Makes 16 pieces | Prep 15 min | Chill 1 to 2 hours

- 16 Medjool dates, pitted (about 300 g)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) tahini
- 1/3 cup (40 g) chopped pistachios
- 100 g 70% dark chocolate
- Pinch of pink salt

1. Press the dates flat into a parchment-lined 8-inch tin.
2. Spread on the tahini, scatter over the pistachios.
3. Melt the chocolate, pour over, add the salt.
4. Chill until set, then cut into 16 pieces.

Keeps 1 week in the fridge, 2 months in the freezer.
Nut or sesame allergy? Swap in pumpkin seeds and/or sunflower seed butter.

What happens when a room full of ambitious women start talking about why they’re exhausted, bloated, and running on caffeine?

Real conversations!!

Thank you, , for having me as a guest speaker in your Rising Circle and Inner Circle. Getting to talk about root-cause nutrition and watching the lightbulbs go on when women realize their symptoms are connected is exactly why I do this work.

If you walked away wondering whether your fatigue, digestion, hormones, skin, or autoimmune symptoms have a deeper root cause… they probably do. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

📩 DM me “ROOT CAUSE” and I’ll send you a few questions to start connecting the dots.

When a test produces one striking result, it’s easy to make that result the star of the show.

In this case, my client’s Akkermansia was extremely low. That may be relevant to her gut environment, inflammatory picture and metabolic health…. but it doesn’t prove that low Akkermansia caused all her symptoms.

I’m also looking at her wider microbiome, digestion, thyroid function, nutritional intake, health history and symptoms.

Sometimes one finding becomes an important part of the investigation. It still isn’t the entire investigation.

That’s the difference between chasing a number and trying to understand the person attached to it. Have you ever tested your microbiome?

Tomorrow I’m stepping into the room with the She Rises Together community, and I couldn’t be more grateful. 🤍

Huge thank you to for the invitation. We’re teaming up for "Making Nutrition Simple", a conversation made just for the Inner Circle, and I’m looking forward to it.

I have never loved this kitchen! This kitchen is mine because of divorce, not because it’s one I designed. My last kitchen was BEAUTIFUL…. I was in it all the time, creating and having fun with food… which as a nutritionist is highly important. But this kitchen is dark and it doesn’t light my soul on fire….. but with the help of my bestie Kay it is in the midst of change and I can’t wait to unveil the completed look and actually film some cooking content that doesn’t require me borrowing someone else’s kitchen!! 💜💜💜

When someone tells me their weight has changed despite eating much the same, one of my first questions is:

When did it begin—and what else changed around the same time?

Your cycle. Sleep. Stress. Medication. Digestion. Exercise. Appetite. Energy. Thyroid function.

The timing often gives us far more useful information than immediately cutting another 200 calories.

Your body hasn’t randomly turned against you. But it may be responding to something that deserves a closer look.

It’s incredibly frustrating when your body changes even though you haven’t dramatically changed how you eat.

But food intake is only one part of the picture.
