REFLEXOLOGY & THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM

Reflexology can aid in the pain and discomfort presented in various muscular system conditions. Common conditions include Arthritis, Bursitis, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Gout, Muscular Dystrophy, Osteoarthritis, Parkinson's Disease, Piriformis Muscle Syndrome, and Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ).

TMJ- Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome

A Condition that causes pain in the jaw joints, tenderness in the muscles that move the jaw, clicking of the jaw joints & limitation of the jaw.

TMJ is something I have struggled with for a very long time. I know how painful it can be. How it causes inflammation and tension in the neck and traps, massive headaches or migraines etc. since learning of Reflexology and the specific points that you can apply pressure to that are in relation to the jaw, I have noticed an improvement. Reflexology is also meant to bring your body back to a parasympathetic state; a state of rest & digest. A state of balance. This is where the body can begin to heal itself. 💚

This really resonates with me 💫

Every time I treat someone I experience something different/new, and I’m always astounded by the impact Reflexology can have on the body, mind and spirit 💚

It really is magic! 🪄 ✨
