"When setting out on a journey do not seek advice from someone who has never left home"

When you find yourself ready to do the work to get to where you need to go - do not take advice from people who have *things* that you wish you had.
Take advice from people who have been where you have been, who have made the journey you are embarking on.
Find yourself a teacher. Someone who can guide you, support you, love you, and has the capacity to hold space for you while you do it.
Quiet the voices of others who tell you that what you're doing and where you are going is pointless, useless, or futile - including your own.
Do not seek approval from people who will never approve. Do not let your fear of their judgement prevent you from stepping onto your path.
Stay strong. Be wise.
