No excuses. Yesterday I was (gasp!) without blessed internet for the better part of the day. I know, I know, such first world problems. I set up to move my body because goodness knows all aspects of my work are now inaccessible... And it hits me: I can't work out or do yoga either! My usual teachers were only available, after all, via hi-speed internet. 🤦
Ahhhh but wait. A brief moment of embarrassment washes over me as I realize that, in fact, movement is indeed possible without technology. Stop the presses.
So I snapped this shot of my space, just as it was. Post sweat sesh.
Eons ago, when I ran races, some dolled up runner came up next to me before the starting line and commented on my glaring lack of super-sophisticated-dry-fit clothing. Not from a place of wanting to intentionally shame me, I'm sure, but from a genuine confusion as to where my other running clothes must be.
I smiled and responded, likely snarkily, "It actually IS possible to run in an old cotton shirt".
So to anyone thinking that they can only make room or time for exercise when the conditions, the technology, the clothing are jjjust right, take heed.
Just. Move.
