As a homeschooler, I’m SO EXCITED about the upcoming eclipse. It inspires so many learning topics and a very cool, real experience!

Can I be real with you?

Our patriarchal system has us believing that more work = more money. It’s the biggest load of BS… but you know what? I believed it FOR YEARS. I can remember for all the times I was burnt out climbing up a yoga studio’s entrance stairs to teach a class or three - only to be met with little monetary return. I’ve also been thrilled with a full schedule of coaching clients but found myself burnt out in my parenting or even in my relationship.

But what exactly did I do to make the changes I’m seeing today? Cause nowadays, for me, time DOES NOT equal money!

I changed my business model! The right business model will pay for your time BUT ALSO for your time off (passive income yes please!). I’ll go so far as to say the right business model will let you work on your own time - even if it’s pockets of time throughout the day. Even if it’s at a beach, like I am here in this pic!

Y’all I have found a NEW way to work!

To be honest though, I didn’t invent it. I simply found it. It’s no secret that I homeschool. I organize my business hours around my kids needs and I’m lucky to say it’s been working great for us so far.

But in all transparency, as much as I ADORE my coaching business and my clients, the more I coach means the less time I have to be with my littles. Which is why I’ve been slowly shifting things behind the scenes.

I know I’m not the only one who wants to work less but make more. It’s basically the number one desire I hear from Mamas everywhere.

And you know what? I do believe I’ve figured this one out! It’s taken years of learning and a few stumbles along the way but y’all, I’m onto something pretty damn exciting!! It’s going to keep me holding these two pairs of little hands as often as they wish! AND it’s in integrity with my beliefs and lifestyle (healthy for me, you, the planet, empowers women, supports Mamas!!!)

Sometimes our shadow side can be so big and overwhelming that we end up playing hide and seek with life instead of actually living it.

We hide, while seeking new ways to get away from our shadow self but in reality, we can’t. Our shadow - the part of us that we deem not “Instagram worthy” - is the part of us that needs the most love. Unlike Peter Pan, we can’t loose our shadow. Instead, we need to integrate it in order to be fully present with life.

Here’s two major steps to take in that direction:
1. Figure out who your shadow self is. (What is she like? What type of things does she say? And do?)
2. Give this shadow self some love. Find a way to feel compassion for her and instead of pushing her away, draw her in close. I promise she’ll soften once she’s there. (But if you push this part of yourself away, she WILL get louder and act out).

Does social media fill you up? You know, in those soulful, heartfelt, “been longing for this” type of ways?

Are you more lit up after an hour on social or after an hour with a friend?

I don’t love social media as it doesn’t breed connection or presence - it never has. This is why I do most of my marketing OFF of social media. Yep, I rarely get new clients from social and instead use many other effective techniques. I know HOW TO get clients here but I find the amount of time spent making sales on social vs. the other techniques I use isn’t even comparable. It’s also not nearly as enjoyable.

Just imagine:

- more time with your kids.
- more time in real connection with others.
- more time for yourself doing what you love.
- freedom from your phone screen and presence in your day to day life.

So listen up… I’m putting the final touches on a new workshop (!!!) where I’ll show you exactly how to market yourself OFF of social media. The busyness of December has me longing for slow summer moments like this one. It’s a pretty interesting time to be busy cuz don’t we all hear a lot about peace this time of year?! ✌🏼

Here’s 5 steps to lighten your to-do list in order to bring back your peace:

➡️ 1. Make a list ON PAPER. Not just in your head. This will clear some head space knowing your mind doesn’t have to hold it all.

➡️ 2. Rate your list items with most urgent to least urgent. I like to colour code & make a mini legend on my lists when I start rating. I recommend you do too.

➡️ 3. Mark which list items will take the most amount of work vs. which will take the least amount of work.

➡️ 4. Mark which items stress you out the most, to which stress you out the least.

➡️ 5. Decide! Now you’ve got a clear understanding of your to-do list based on amount of time, stress and when things need to get done. Do the most urgent first. Then, look at the most stress filled item - take that on next. Once that’s complete, your head will be much clearer to take on the items that take up the most time. Good luck!

You know… I think us life coaches are failing our clients if we only focus on fulfilling the next best dream based on a glamorized life. Sure, dreaming into desires such as wealth, acres of land, happiness and is important…. But so is fulfilment in everyday life and that doesn’t come from chasing dreams. “Chasing” gets us nowhere. We thrive when we learn to appreciate what we DO have and from that place, riches of Spirit rain on down. These riches include feelings of love, connection, intimacy, joy, pleasure and deep trust in All That Is.

Monetary wealth feels empty without spiritual wealth so please stop chasing it as a way to feel fulfilled.

You can bet my clients are working on spiritual wealth alongside dreaming all of those dreams into reality.
