🎶 The Teeny Tinys with Ms Aria | Early Childhood Music and Movement for babies, toddlers, preschool and kinder. Learn, move & connect with music!

ECE-led programs, childcare enrichment classes and birthday parties in GTA and Peel. Aria Zenua also known as Ms. Aria, owner and lead facilitator of The Teeny Tinys Inc. is a singer-songwriter, early childhood educator, and wellness-driven mama on a mission to inspire joy, creativity, and mindful living. With a deep love for music, play, and connection, she creates experiences that nurture young learners and their families. Aria helps parents, caregivers, educators and early learners explore music, movement, and holistic wellness in ways that spark curiosity and confidence. Her approach blends her credentials in early childhood education with her artistry and wellness focus, making learning both playful and meaningful. When she’s not singing, songwriting, or facilitating enriching experiences for little ones, Aria champions mindful parenting and self-care, showing that nurturing creativity and wellness can go hand-in-hand.

🐿️ Squirrels are the little gardeners of the forest!

Squirrels bury acorns in the ground to save for later but here’s the funny part… they don’t always remember where they hid them!

Those forgotten acorns get the chance to sprout, grow roots, and eventually become mighty oak trees. 🌳

Think about it… a tiny act of preparation, a little forgetfulness, and suddenly, years later, there’s a giant tree providing shade, shelter and food for countless living things. ❤️

Nature has a beautiful way of turning even our little mistakes into something meaningful. 🍂

Now tell me… did you know squirrels were planting forests all along, or is this news to you?

With music and wonder,
Ms.Aria “Your Singing ECE”

🍂🐿️ Meet Timothy the Squirrel! 🌰

Looking for a playful way to bring autumn learning to life? Meet Timothy, a busy little squirrel who scurries, climbs trees and stuffs his cheeks with acorns! 🍁

I created an autumn-inspired action song to the familiar melody of Tiny Tim the Turtle, with a fun squirrel twist! 🐿️🎶

The best part? There’s more than one way to enjoy it!

🍂 Get moving: Stand up, wiggle, scurry, stretch and pretend to climb trees!

🌰 Play with fingers: Enjoy the song as an interactive fingerplay while seated.

🍁 Extend the learning: Explore autumn, squirrels, acorns, movement, counting, vocabulary and so much more!

This playful resource is perfect for preschool and kindergarten educators, homeschoolers and parents looking for engaging, hands-on ways to support early learning.

I’ve also created a FREE printable activity sheet featuring the song lyrics, visuals and prompts to inspire even more learning opportunities! 🍂✨

Let’s be honest, our to-do lists as ECEs are already a mile long. The last thing you need is someone telling you to add "plan a full music curriculum" to your plate.

Music isn’t an extra thing. It’s the secret co-teacher that helps you manage the day.

When your group of early learners is bouncing off the walls, or you’re trying to transition from the carpet to the cubbies, music does the heavy lifting so you don't have to yell over chaos.

Swipe through for 5 simple ways to let music work for you today.

📌 SAVE this post for your next lesson planning session and drop a 🎶 in the comments if your transition song is currently living rent-free in your head.

Huge thanks to The Mama Edit for hosting an absolutely beautiful class in the sun with an incredible group of mamas and adorable musical tiny ones.

It was an absolute joy!

Mama baby classes will always have a special place held sacred in my heart.

The best music activities don’t always look impressive.

You don’t need a drum.
You don’t need fancy instruments.
You don’t need a complicated activity.

A wooden spoon and a pot.
A container and some dried pasta.
Two blocks tapped together.
A cardboard box turned into a drum.

At home or in the childcare centre, everyday objects can become opportunities for musical exploration.

And while it looks simple, children are exploring:

✨ Rhythm
✨ Listening
✨ Turn-taking
✨ Cause & effect
✨ Coordination
✨ Self-expression
✨ Confidence

Sometimes it’s one simple beat…
a pause…
and a child discovering, “I made that sound.”

Try it today: make a simple rhythm, stop and wait for their response.

Let them take the lead.

A child who doesn’t join the circle isn’t necessarily disengaged. They might be watching, listening, processing, observing and or deciding whether they feel safe.

Early childhood educators or caregivers, is this something that resonates or do you feel the need to coax a child into getting out of their comfort zone?

With music and wonder,
