Letting go and embracing the flow of life can lead to deep transformation. When we release control and trust in the process, we create space for new energy and possibilities to enter. Yoga teaches us to breathe through discomfort, be present, and let go of what no longer serves us—whether it's negative thoughts, emotions, or stress. In this space of surrender, we can connect with a deeper sense of peace and clarity, allowing life to unfold with grace and ease. Every moment is an opportunity to let go and begin again.

The power of letting go is transformative, and yoga plays a key role in helping release negative emotions. Through mindful movement and deep breathing, yoga encourages us to focus on the present moment, helping to clear the mind of past regrets or future anxieties. Poses that open the heart, like backbends, or poses that ground us, like forward folds, create space for emotional release, allowing us to let go of stress, tension, and negative energy.

By practicing yoga, we learn to let go both physically and mentally—whether it’s releasing tightness in the body or surrendering emotions we’ve been holding onto. This process of letting go brings a sense of inner peace and emotional freedom.

The saying "You are what you eat" holds a lot of truth. What we consume directly affects our physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. The nutrients in the food we eat influence how our bodies function, including brain health, mood regulation, and energy levels. For instance, a diet rich in whole foods—like fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats—provides essential vitamins and minerals that help balance hormones, reduce inflammation, and improve brain function.

Personally, I feel that the food I eat deeply affects my attitude, way of thinking, and especially my emotions. When I nourish my body with wholesome, plant-based meals, I feel more energized, focused, and emotionally balanced. In contrast, processed foods or those high in sugar can lead to mood swings, fatigue, and even feelings of anxiety. The mind-body connection through food is powerful, and by making conscious choices, you can create a positive impact on both your mental and physical health.

I love practicing yoga in nature—it’s where I feel most connected and at peace. Whether it’s by the ocean, in the forest, or simply in a park, nature adds an extra sense of calm and grounding to my practice. When I can’t get out into nature, my backyard is the perfect spot to roll out my mat. Even in this small, familiar space, I can feel the benefits of being outdoors, surrounded by fresh air and natural light. It’s a great reminder that you don’t need to go far to experience the beauty of practicing yoga in nature!

I absolutely love vegan food! It can be so colorful and delicious, making each meal a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. From vibrant salads filled with fresh greens, tomatoes, and peppers to hearty grain bowls topped with bright veggies, there's no shortage of creativity in plant-based cooking.

The benefits of eating a colorful vegan diet are numerous. Colorful fruits and vegetables are packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support overall health. For example, leafy greens provide iron and calcium, while bright fruits like berries and citrus are rich in vitamin C and fiber. These nutrients can boost the immune system, improve digestion, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

Not to mention, a colorful plate often indicates a variety of nutrients, helping to ensure a well-rounded diet. Eating a diverse array of plants can also be beneficial for mental health, as the act of cooking and enjoying food can bring joy and mindfulness into our daily routines.

Early morning, right before class. I absolutely love teaching yoga! Sharing the practice with others brings me immense joy and fulfillment. Watching my students grow stronger and more confident in their abilities is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable to explore their bodies and minds.

Yoga is not just about the physical postures; it's about connecting with ourselves and each other on a deeper level. I strive to inspire my students to find their own unique practice and discover the benefits of mindfulness, strength, and flexibility. I absolutely love practicing handstands! They make me feel like a little girl again, bringing back that playful spirit and joy. Not only are handstands fun, but they also offer incredible benefits. They help build strength in my shoulders and core while improving balance and coordination.

Being upside down boosts circulation to the brain, leaving me feeling refreshed and focused. Plus, it’s a great confidence booster—mastering this pose is such an empowering experience! I highly recommend adding handstands to your routine; they’re a playful way to stay fit and have fun!

Our Story

I'm Neeva, a certified yoga teacher and holistic nutritionist who specializes in healthy weight loss programs. Up until the age of 40, I was always over-weight and constantly putting myself through a roller-coaster of endless diets. After a lifetime of living in this unbalanced way, everything caught up with me and I found out that I had a serious thyroid dysfunction. This was the wake-up call I needed in order to change my lifestyle once and for all. After refusing to take pills prescribed by doctors, and instead, taking my health into my own hands through changing my eating habits, I've regained my health and full function of my thyroid, and as a great bonus, I lost all the extra weight! Now, I have decided to happily make it my mission and dedicate my life to help others lose weight and gain health!
