🎃🐴✨Another STaRS Halloween Ride! In our therapeutic riding lesson today, we rode a unicorn led by a cowgirl! Giddy Up! Who had more fun out there? The pony, riders, instructor or volunteer?

Welcome Jada, STaRS’ newest and PATH certified instructor. With a background in hunter and dressage followed by an introduction to adaptive riding, Jada has relocated to Vancouver from the island to earn her Masters in Physiotherapy at UBC. Jada is a hit with her Saturday morning students. While not instructing Jada can likely be found immersed in student life or enjoying a run through the local trails. We are so fortunate to have Jada on our team!

🐴✨Meet Myles! One STaRS rider had a chance to take him out today. What a beautiful horse and he knows it!

Hope we get to see you out riding again soon!

🐴✨ All 8 instructors were CHA IRD certified at various levels after the 6 day program hosted and subsidized by STaRS and facilitated through the generosity of Southlands Heritage Farm. We would like to congratulate all the instructors, thank our volunteers, volunteer riders, staff, board of directors, donors and Jen Maynard for allowing us use of her home and farm throughout the week! It truly took a community to make this happen!
