Something kept surfacing for me while I was The Nami Project | Ucluelet BC and when I came home, I found myself thinking about how closely it connected to conversations we’ve been having inside COR™.
We often think of our environment as the backdrop to our lives, but I’ve been reminded that it’s doing much more than that. The spaces we spend time in are constantly shaping our attention, influencing our nervous system, and quietly affecting how we move through the day, whether we’re aware of it or not.
Since returning home, I’ve been observing my own surroundings with a different kind of curiosity and noticing how much they’re already communicating before I ever think about changing anything.
If you want to explore this for yourself, spend a little time noticing how you feel as you move through the spaces you use most. Pay attention to where you naturally settle, where you feel distracted or tense, and what your attention is repeatedly drawn toward. You may begin to notice that your environment has been communicating with you all along.
I’d love to hear what you notice.
