Has anyone encountered similar situations to these red flags? These are all things my patients have experienced first-hand from medical professionals. Education, empowerment, and advocacy are three of the many pillars I want to achieve in my practice as a Naturopathic Doctor, and it’s something that you deserve through and through as well. Please know that you are worthy of being heard, respected, and being involved in your own health journey in collaboration with your doctor.

Warm Kale Salad
With the weather getting cooler, it’s good to mix in some warm foods in our diet too. Here is a warm kale salad that I made and wanted to share with you because it’s super easy!
In my bowl:
•cooked kale as the base
•oven-roasted sweet potatoes, red pepper
•quinoa
•pumpkin seeds & cried cranberries
•avocado
•cilantro
•topped with spices & lime juice
I ate this plain, but you could definitely add in a honey dijon vinaigrette to drizzle on top.
