IMPORTANT UPDATE 14/05/2024:
As of July 10, 2024 the Park Drive Dental Centre Inc. will be in the position to accept the CDCP. The first visit will determine your overall Dental health. At this initial appointment you will receive a complete examination of your teeth and gums and jaw including a complete x-ray and digital scan to support our treatment planning recommendations. This first appointment will be covered 100% by the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Following this initial visit we will be using the ODA Fee Guide for billing and those costs after the CDCP plan coverage is deducted, will be your responsibility to pay at the time of each appointment. Please note that all treatments may not be covered at 100% of the ODA fee guide. However, the coverage looks to be between 80-95% of the ODA fee guide for most procedures! Our ability to send Predetermination of cost requests to the Government Insurance plan will not be available until November 2024. We are starting the new process of direct billing to Sun Life Insurance and you will not be denied Dental Care any time after July 10th.
