A: In many cases, yes we will do the procedure/treatment the same time as your consultation.

This is a question we get very frequently before someone books or during their appointment!

At Go Medical Clinic, we always aim to complete your procedure or treatment during the same visit whenever it’s appropriate and safe to do so. We know your time is valuable, and we do our best to make your appointment as efficient and convenient as possible.

That said, there are some situations where treatment may need to be scheduled for another day—for example, if additional assessment is needed, multiple procedures are required, special equipment or preparation is necessary, or our schedule doesn’t allow enough time to provide the level of care you deserve.

Our goal is simple: provide the right care, at the right time, while respecting your busy schedule whenever possible.

Whether you’re heading to the lake, enjoying a BBQ, watching fireworks, or spending time outside with family, don’t forget to protect your skin.

A few simple habits can make a big difference:
🧴 Use a broad-spectrum (minimum) SPF 30+ sunscreen
⏰ Reapply every 2 hours (and after swimming or sweating)
🧢 Wear a hat, sunglasses, and protective clothing
🌳 Seek shade during the hottest part of the day
👂 Don’t forget easy to miss spots like your ears, lips, neck, hands, and feet

Sunburns aren’t just uncomfortable, they increase your lifetime risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging.

Not every mole or skin lesion is dangerous…but some changes should never be ignored.

Checking your skin regularly can help you notice changes early and know when it’s time to get assessed.

👀 Watch for:
• Changes in size or colour
• Irregular borders
• Bleeding or crusting
• A spot that looks different from the others

Use the ABCDE rule as a simple guide and remember: when in doubt, get it checked.

You will want to save this post to come back to for when you notice one of these on your body!

Not all “bumps under the skin” are the same, and many can be safely removed in our clinic with a minor procedure.

At Go Medical clinic, we commonly assess and remove:

* Sebaceous / epidermoid cysts
* Small lipomas (fatty lumps)
* Benign superficial skin and subcutaneous lesions
* Other small soft tissue lumps

Common reasons patients choose removal:

* Recurrent swelling or infection
