Ememike Health Foundation, in collaboration with St. Michael Health Center, continues to educate pregnant and lactating mothers in a safe space on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.
Through these educative talks, mothers are encouraged to breastfeed their babies exclusively for the first six months of life, giving them the best start for healthy growth and development. Together, we promote healthier mothers and stronger babies!

The session focused on raising awareness about STI prevention, early testing, proper treatment, and the importance of antenatal care. Pregnant mothers were encouraged to practice safe s*x, seek timely medical attention, and follow healthcare professionals’ advice to protect themselves and their unborn babies.

Together, we remain committed to promoting maternal health, preventing infections, and ensuring safer pregnancies for every mother and child.

🎗️ BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: EARLY DETECTION AND TREATMENT SAVE LIVES! 💗

Breast cancer is one of the major health challenges affecting women worldwide, although men can also develop it. Creating awareness about breast cancer is essential in helping people recognize its warning signs and seek medical attention early.

Early detection plays a vital role in successful treatment and improves the chances of survival. Warning signs may include a lump in the breast or armpit, changes in breast size or shape, changes in the skin, ni**le discharge, or an unusual change in the ni**le.

We encourage everyone to be breast-aware, attend recommended breast screening services, and report any unusual changes to a qualified healthcare professional without delay. Breast cancer can be treated, and early diagnosis can make a significant difference.

EMEMIKE Health Foundation, in collaboration with St Michael Health Center, conducted a community visit to educate community members and some schools on the importance of maintaining good health and hygiene.

During the visit, health education was provided on personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, proper handwashing, disease prevention, and the importance of seeking timely medical care. Community members were encouraged to adopt healthy practices, keep their surroundings clean, and take responsibility for their health and well-being.

The visit was an opportunity to interact with community members, raise health awareness, and promote a healthier community.
