My dear ENYGO friends, I've recently been made the head of the Gynecology Oncology Unit in the new hospital in which I started working since returning from my fellowship. Becoming the teacher after being the student for so long time is a frightening process. All through the residency and fellowship, you always know that your mentor is whitin reach. Being alone in the OR is an exciting step after that. My fellowship has granted me the tools to cope with the problems in the OR, but it's the ENYGO membership that gave me the human connection and the opportunity to be advised by the great medical minds of the world-all of you. So, just to say, no shout - Thank you! My next mission would be making my department ESGO approved for residency and fellowship. see you soon.
I had the privilege and the honor to be part of the ESGO Masterclass Gyn-Onc 2018 held in Warsaw. It was a great opportunity to update my knowledge , share opinions and learn from the talks of the oldest but also the youngest one of you. All this in a chilly, easy going and open minded atmosphere. A big thank for the heads Professors Cibula, Querleu, Mirza and the amazing Fagotti, Fotopoulou and Halaska. A special thank for the growing star Kamil Zalewski who organized everything and made it possible for me, and also the hospitality and generosity of your country (especially in local food and drinks ;) )Big up, you are going far. Without forgetting Helena and her beautiful smile. Great people, great meeting, great experience. Choukran
