Such fabulous news...

Six years ago I was teaching mindfulness to a handful of children in Chelmsford.

Today I can share that Mindset Mentors has been granted a licence by Sanrio to create Mr. Men Little Miss Mindset for Early Years.

It's a "pinch me" moment - partnering with such an iconic brand.

These characters have been helping children understand feelings for over fifty years, long before anyone called it emotional literacy. They name a feeling in a way a three year old immediately understands. Putting our 25 Superpowers Framework™ alongside them felt obvious the moment we thought of it.

What I'm proudest of, though, is how it gets delivered. It's designed for each setting's own team to teach, under licence, with full CPD accredited training and certification included.

That was a deliberate choice. A programme that needs one of our Mentors nearby can only ever reach the settings lucky enough to have one. The Mr Men Little Miss Early Years Licence can go anywhere. And where a Mentor is available locally, settings can still choose live delivery instead.

25 lessons across a full year, mapped to the EYFS Personal, Social and Emotional Development prime area. Launching September 2026.

This decision has not been an easy one. I am incredibly sad to be saying goodbye to a project that has meant so much to me and to the many children and families I have had the privilege of supporting. Building MiniMe Mindfulness has been a truly purposeful and rewarding journey, and I am deeply grateful for the trust, encouragement, and support you have shown along the way.

It has been a pleasure getting to know so many amazing children and their families. Watching young people grow in confidence, resilience, and wellbeing has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career, and I will carry many wonderful memories with me.

Thank you again for your support, kindness, and trust over the past three and a half years. It has been an honour to be part of your children's wellbeing journey. 💖

Today we are celebrating our wonderful Abbey, who has been growing MiniMe Mindfulness® in Braintree to Colchester area for the last 3.5 years.

Abbey first joined us after seeing the power of MiniMe Mindfulness® sessions first-hand through her work as a teacher. She believed deeply in the impact, wanted to be part of the family, and went on to build something truly beautiful in her local area.

Over the last three years, Abbey has supported children, built strong relationships with schools and families, contributed to our team training, shared her experience openly, and has built and incredibly strong, lucrative and rewarding business.

She has been one of our original franchisees, a brilliant team player, a supportive friend, and such a valued part of the MiniMe Mindfulness® journey.

Today I'm at the Club Hub UK Awards as a FINALIST for Family Business of the Year, and honestly, I'm still letting that sink in.

When I started MiniMe Mindfulness® after a conversation in our kitchen with Oscar and Annie, I just wanted to give children the mindset tools that I had been teaching adults for years. And had been teaching my own kids.

I never imagined it would become a true family affair… with Oscar and Annie leading our guided meditations, Arron and I becoming company directors, building a team of brilliant Mindset Mentors and Franchise Owners across the UK. Plus a whole community of parents, teachers and nurseries cheering this mission on.

THAT is the family business. Not just the four of us. All of us.

Whatever happens today, thank you. To every parent who trusted us with their child's calm. To every school and nursery that opened their doors and allowed us to enrich their curriculum. To every Mindset Mentor pouring her heart into every session, club and holiday camp. To every franchisee who invested their heart, souls, time and money - switching careers and creeating their own success stories.

Perhaps we are all guilty of putting things off because our other lists of things to do is very long?

However, I have noticed that over the last 5 years, my investment in my qualifications hasn’t just boosted my knowledge and helped me network with similar people but it has also built my self-esteem.

Yesterday I went to a fabulous conference with some inspirational talks about subjects that I am passionate about!

Motherhood — and caring roles of every kind — are full of love, learning and growing. And it’s important to remember… you can’t pour from an empty cup™.
