Dads - if everythingโs a ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐, nothing really is. ๐
I had a bit of a lightbulb moment this week, staring at my โpriority list.โ
Turns outโฆ I wasnโt prioritising anything!
I was avoiding
If youโve got multiple โpriorities,โ youโre not focused - youโre juggling, firefighting, and surviving on caffeine and wishful thinking. Been there mate!
A priority is singular.
One thing.
The thing that actually gets your attention, your energy, and moves your life forward.
Everything else?
Noise youโve (probably) accidentally agreed to.
So Iโve stopped talking about priorities with my clients - and with myself.
Itโs all choices.
Every action is a choice.
Every non-action is a choice.๐
And most Dads I work with are making those choices on autopilot:
โ work first
โ health later
โ fitness โwhen life calms downโ
โ sleep an afterthought
โ energy? โIโll sort that in the New Yearโ
But when you start making deliberate choices:
You stop trying to balance the unbalanceable
You take ownership of what actually matters this week
You realise every โyesโ costs something โ time, energy, health, or sanity
So hereโs one for you this week:
Drop it in the comments.
Letโs get a Dad-to-Dad conversation going and maybe help another bloke who needs to hear it.
