As we approach the winter season it is time to start honing your pre and post swim routines.
There are lots of different ways to change after swimming and you will find the way that works for you. The key is to do it quickly as your core continues to cool for 30 minutes after you come out of the water. I will post a few different videos this week to give you examples. This is the first one from Sian, founder of the Bluetits.

Living with or wondering if you might have endometriosis can feel isolating — but you don’t have to go through it alone. 💛

This Thursday, the 24th of September, a free, relaxed peer support group in Bude for anyone living with or suspected to have endometriosis will be meeting at Berries. It’s a safe, welcoming space to connect with others who understand. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you like, listen to others, or simply enjoy being around people who “get it”.

📍 Berries Community Café, Bude
🕖 7–9pm, Thursday 24th September (bi-monthly)

The venue is private for the group, so you can feel comfortable and safe while attending.

If you’d like more information or a friendly informal chat before coming along, please email:
📧 [email protected]

This group is run by a trained Endometriosis UK volunteer and offers peer support (not medical advice).

Please feel free to share this post so it can reach anyone locally who might benefit. 💛

Meet Lucy Cox, who’ll be chairing our panel at Holistic Her: Working Differently.

Lucy knows a thing or two about what it means to work differently.

A late-diagnosed ADHDer, business owner and mum, her work spans confidence, imposter syndrome, neurodiversity and self-sabotage.

And she’ll be bringing all of that experience to our panel, Voices from the Field.

This won’t be a panel of carefully rehearsed answers or neat little success stories.

Instead, Lucy will lead a conversation about:

👉 identity and self-trust
👉 neurodivergence and business
👉 leadership beyond the traditional mould
👉 building success around real lives
👉 and what happens when we stop trying to work in ways that simply don’t suit us

Lucy brings warmth, curiosity and lived experience to the conversation, creating space for the messy, complicated and often overlooked realities of working and leading differently.

Real experiences. Honest conversations. Useful takeaways.

That’s exactly what this panel is about. 🌿

📍 Scorrier House, Cornwall
📅 20 November

😊We are very excited to be offering this Wellbeing Nature Walk - Heath to Shore. We will start at Goonhilly Nature reserve, walk across the heathland down to Kennack Sands.

We are collaborating with Cornwall Wildlife Trust Natural England Wildlife Groundswell to deliver this 5 mile walk, taking in the wildlife, flora and fauna of the heathland, experience nature connect activities and finish at the beach with a guided meditation. Oh! and did I mention that we will provide a light lunch of soup and bread en-route.

‼️🥾Most of the route is flat and downhill, but the ground is uneven, it may be boggy in parts so for this one, you will need to have a level of fitness to be able to be on your feet for 5 hours and walk on "lumpy ground". So please only book if you are confident that you can walk the distance.

If you are concerned that you don't have the right clothing, boots, ruck sack etc for this walk, please contact us, as we do have some kit reserves which we can loan you.

Sorry - NO DOGS Allowed - Personal Assistance Dogs only

If you would like to read more about this walk and join us, please book your FREE place using the link below:
