Good coaching doesn’t happen in isolation.

Effective Workplace Strategy Coaching relies on more than the conversation between coach and employee. It also requires reflection, professional development and a commitment to safe, ethical practice.

At neurobox, coaching supervision gives our coaches space to reflect on their work, explore challenging situations, consider different approaches and support their own professional wellbeing.

This helps us maintain a thoughtful, individualised approach to coaching — one that recognises every employee, role and workplace is different.

For organisations investing in employee coaching, how support is delivered matters just as much as the service itself.

Workplace adjustments are important. But how do employees turn that support into strategies they can use every day?

Workplace Strategy Coaching can help bridge that gap.

Through personalised one-to-one coaching, employees can explore their individual strengths and challenges, identify potential barriers and develop practical strategies tailored to their role and needs.

For HR teams, Occupational Health professionals and employers, coaching can complement workplace adjustments with individualised support focused on how each employee works best.

At neurobox, our strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach recognises each person’s individual needs, values their strengths and helps them develop strategies that work for them - rather than expecting them to fit a standard way of working.

How much energy does it take to look like you're coping?

Masking at work can mean constantly adapting, overcompensating or hiding how difficult things feel. Over time, this can be exhausting.

In her latest blog, Head of Training at neurobox, Donna Stevenson explored the hidden impact of masking and the toll it can take on neurodivergent employees.

neurobox Workplace Strategy Coaching can help you understand the barriers, challenges, recognise your strengths and find practical strategies that work for you.

Our coaching can be funded by your employer or, if eligible, through Access to Work.

They hit every deadline. They're also running on empty.

Masking, the effort of hiding or suppressing parts of yourself to fit workplace norms, is often invisible. It can mean rehearsing every conversation, second-guessing every reaction and hiding overwhelm.

What managers see is often only one side of the coin, the positive result – every deadline met, work double-checked, extra hours put in. It looks like high performance, but may not reveal an unsustainable effort happening behind the scenes.

Over time, that effort can build towards burnout and managers are often surprised when it arrives.

neurobox's Head of Training, Donna Stevenson's explores:
- What masking looks like day to day, from over-preparing to hiding sensory overload
- The unwritten rules of 'professionalism' and the fear of disclosing
- How workplace culture can accidentally reward masking
- Six practical steps employers can take to support their employees, from clearer communication to manager training and creating psychologically safe cultures.

The goal shouldn't be to help people mask better. It should be to build workplaces where they have less reason to.

What does dyslexia look like in real life at work?

This year, Dyslexia Awareness Week is focusing on dyslexic adults and their experiences of work and the workplace - from recruitment and communication to workplace systems, management and adjustments.

For employers, it’s an opportunity to look beyond simply understanding what dyslexia is and ask: where might our workplace be creating unnecessary barriers?

Dyslexia Awareness Week can be a starting point for longer-term conversations – giving managers more confidence to talk about neurodiversity, encouraging employees to share what helps them work at their best, and looking at how everyday workplace practices could be more inclusive. And those conversations don’t need to wait for someone to disclose dyslexia or reach a point of difficulty.

Awareness is the starting point. Action means building understanding into everyday working practices.

Making Access to Work, work!

Once an employee receives their recommendations, someone still needs to turn them into meaningful support.

For organisations managing multiple Access to Work journeys, that can quickly mean multiple suppliers, invoices, software licences, coaching sessions, training and claims.

That’s where we can support you.

neurobox brings the different parts of the Access to Work journey together, providing end-to-end support through one trusted partner.

And through neurohub, our adjustment management platform, organisations can coordinate recommended adjustments, track employee support, manage licences and simplify claims – while employees have their own space to manage their journey.

Less complexity for your organisation. A more connected experience for your employees.
