We were proud to support Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT UK) in the Severn Region for their Foundational Surgical Skills Course.

Led by General Surgeon Mr Sailesh Partheeban, trainees used our next-generation Fascia Skin Pads to practise midline linea alba and skin closure techniques, alongside laparoscopic surgical methods.

With the majority of delegates rating Cambridge Surgical Models’ Fascia Skin Pads 10/10, the course demonstrated how high-fidelity surgical training can take place outside the operating theatre using sustainable, non-hazardous, animal-free materials.

We’re proud to support the next generation of surgeons - and to continue working with ASiT UK to promote the highest standards in surgical training. 🩺

We were proud to support the inaugural Black Budding Dentists – Specialities in Dentistry Conference at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London. 🦷

With 100+ dentists and students attending, the event offered aspiring dental professionals valuable insights into a range of specialities.

Our next-generation skin pads supported a hands-on suturing and wound closure workshop led by Dr Sunkanmi Oladeji, helping students develop essential clinical skills in a realistic, accessible way.

Available in a range of skin tones, CSM’s high-fidelity pads enable trainees to practise in ways that reflect the diversity of the patients they will care for.

We’re proud to support the next generation of dental professionals and help build confidence before treating patients. 🙌

CSM proudly showcased at The Big Pitch 2026 earlier in June. Two of our Co-Founders Dr Mark Golab and Dr Senthooran Kathiravelupillai completed the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) in 2026, as part of Cohort 9.

Led by the inspirational Professor Tony Young, the NHS CEP accelerated Mark’s and Senthooran’s leadership, innovation, and MedTech journey. Through lectures, mentoring and workshops, Mark and Senthooran felt incredibly supported, as they continue to grow research, development and operations at Cambridge Surgical Models Ltd.

At the Big Pitch 2026, CSM showcased our high-fidelity skin pads and organ models, used by training doctors and surgeons across the UK, for out-of-theatre simulation training.

We are ever grateful to the NHS CEP team for all the knowledge, wisdom and support they have provided CSM’s Co-Founders.

Every skill, every success, every win, starts from solid foundations. Cambridge Surgical Models were proud to exhibit and host a Suturing and Wound Closure Workshop at the 🌟 Royal College of Surgeons England’s Future of Surgery Festival 🌟

📍 Situated in the Development Hub, medical students and junior trainees used CSM’s Next Generation Skin Pads to practise various wound closure methods, ranging from mattress to subcuticular ✅ Working on layer accuracy, instrument handling and tension control, Skin Pad feedback was fantastic ♥️

🌟 Exhibiting at the Festival alongside groundbreaking surgical technologies including Robotic 🤖 , VR 👓 and Simulation 🖥️ companies was a privilege, and reflects the College’s mission to advance surgical care and training, to ultimately improve patient outcomes 📊

With the 2026 Festival over, the team at Cambridge Surgical Models will return promptly to work back at our Cambridge HQ, to continue development of surgical training tools that will empower the training of current and future clinicians as well as allied healthcare professionals 🌎

We are grateful to Festival Chair Professor Yasin, College Council Members as well as the College’s education and event teams, for making CSM’s presence at the Future of Surgery Festival a reality 🙌

Cambridge Surgical Models at NANSIG’s Annual Conference in February 2026 🌟

Whether learning surgical tools, suturing or knot tying, future doctors and surgeons should get as much surgical skills practice as they can 🙌

It was a pleasure to support the National Neurology and Neurosurgery Interest Group, at their Annual National Conference, kindly hosted by Imperial College Neurology Society at Imperial College London.

Medical professionals may be performing minor procedures as a GP, stitching up lacerations in ED or helping close wounds in surgical cases in theatre 👌 And patients deserve nothing but the best trained doctors and surgeons 🤝

Check out our Next-Generation Skin Pads for suturing practice, a favourite among hundreds of medical students and doctors. Link in bio! Message or email the CSM team to find out more 🤓
