A huge thank you to Hannah, James and their friends and family for their incredible fundraising efforts in memory of their son Parker. 🥰 ⛳ 🐼
"Our journey with PaNDR began with our beautiful son, Parker James Atkinson, who was born prematurely at just 28 weeks at West Suffolk Hospital. He was immediately transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a PaNDR ambulance, where he spent 49 precious days with us before sadly passing away after being diagnosed with Noonan syndrome. Parker may only have been with us for a short time, but he has left a lifetime of love in our hearts, and we miss him more than words can ever express. 💚
PaNDR has continued to support our family in such a special way. They gave us a PaNDR teddy to keep as a precious reminder of Parker, and also gave one to his older brother, Elliott. The teddy has been a huge comfort to Elliott and has helped him so much in understanding and processing the loss of his little brother. We will always be grateful for the kindness, care and support PaNDR has shown our family during the hardest time of our lives.
In Parker’s memory, my partner James and I held a charity golf day at Maylands Golf Course, organised by my wonderful sister and brother-in-law, raising an amazing £875 for PaNDR. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, donated and supported us in honouring our little boy. It means so much to be able to give something back to a team that has made such a difference to our family.
This golf day is just the beginning, as we have decided to make it an annual event in Parker’s memory, continuing to raise money and awareness for PaNDR and the incredible work they do for families like ours. 🐼 🚑
Forever loved, forever missed, and forever our little boy. 💚⛳️"
