We're here for childhood cancer in Wales.

We’re here for families affected by childhood cancer in Wales, providing bespoke emotional, practical and financial support. LATCH is a charity that supports children receiving treatment for cancer at the Children's Hospital for Wales and their families. LATCH provides financial, practical and emotional support and on-site accommodation to families as well as funding specialised equipment, clinical projects and fun activities for the children.

🎨The Power of Play! ✨

For children spending time in hospital, play is so much more than just having fun. It’s an opportunity to express themselves, explore their imagination and enjoy a little sense of normality during what can be a challenging time.

We recently purchased new arts and crafts supplies for children on Rainbow ward, helping to keep little hands busy and creative minds inspired! 🌈

From colouring and painting to making their very own masterpieces, creative activities can provide a welcome distraction from treatment, encourage self-expression and bring moments of happiness to hospital days.

At Latch, we believe that every child deserves the chance to simply be a child, even when they’re in hospital ❤️

🏃‍➡️£58,000 and counting!🏃‍♀️

💜The incredible runners of team Latch absolutely smashed it, with the largest fundraising total for Latch at a Cardiff Half... Ever!

The more than 120 runners took to the iconic course through the capital's streets, showing their support and raising awareness for Latch with their new brightly coloured, eye catching shirts!

We're so proud of each and every runner who took on the challenge in aid of Latch, and we can't wait to do it all again next year!

🐻Thank you to everyone who attended our Build-A-Bear workshop yesterday!

It was wonderful to see so many new friends being made, both the real and the fluffy kind! We're so glad to be able to host such fun-filled events, and see all of the smiles that come with it 💜
