I adore the community slowly building around Bask! Was just talking to my husband about this.
You are all a very diverse, gentle, smart, kind and caring bunch!
My husband said “well that sounds like you” what a compliment!
I think the people we attract say a lot about what Bask is becoming.
Because yes, it’s a sauna. There’s heat, cold water, sweating, relaxing and all the lovely things that come with that.
But it’s also the people.
The conversations. The familiar faces. The people who come on their own. The ones who bring their friends. The ones who come because they need an hour to themselves. The ones who have become regulars without even really noticing it happening.
And I love that there doesn’t seem to be one particular “type” of person who comes to Bask. The diversity is just wonderful. You’re all different, but there’s this lovely thread of kindness, curiosity and openness running through you.
It makes me feel very proud of what’s growing here.
So if you’ve never been, or you’ve been wondering whether Bask is for you, maybe this is your little sign to come and see what it’s all about.
You don’t have to know anyone. You don’t have to be a sauna expert. You can come on your own, be completely quiet, chat to everyone, or somewhere in between.
Just come as you are.
