🌚 I recently trained with ND Birth®️ and just received my completion certificate!

As a neurodivergent person myself I was really keen to learn how to better provide support to pregnant, birthing and postnatal people who are also ND.

I learned that ND people are much more likely to experience perinatal mental illness which I unfortunately have a lot of first hand experience with so it's amazing to have some tools to share with you while navigating pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

If you'd like to know more about working with me please pop me a DM or come along to Pregnancy Social & Doula drop-in on the 25th October.

I have birth doula availability from now until mid December then from the start of January onwards.

✨ online relaxation class ✨

This is for everyone! You don't have to be pregnant or a parent to spend a wee chilled 90 with me on Teams.

Come in your jammies, bring your tea and we'll have a wee chat, some gentle seated movement, a wee breathing exercise then I'll lead a guided meditation session.

Tickets are only £10 and the money will go towards my space on a training course about how to better support neurodivergent pregnant and birthing people.

I'm just using PayPal, the link is in my bio and leave your email address in the notes so I can send you the meeting link.

🗓️ Saturday 22nd July
⏰ 7pm
🎟️ £10

Looking forward to seeing some new and friendly faces ✌🏼

🤰🏼 I didn't invite my ex to our baby's birth certificate ✌🏼

We broke while I was pregnant and I did not want him there while I was giving birth 💁🏼‍♀️

Absolutely noone has the right to be in your birth space, not even your partner or baby's other parent. Only you get to decide who is there.

If you're looking for a doula in Edinburgh, I have good availability for the rest of the year so why not DM me to have a chat and see if we're a good fit?

I'm a single parent myself and I'm really keen to support other single/solo parents to have an amazing birth experience. Payment plans are always an option and I'm happy to discuss skill swaps 🩷

🌞 How 1 to 1 sessions work 🤰🏽

I spoke about this on my stories already but here it is on the grid if you missed that.

Step 1 - You DM me and let me know what you want information about, maybe you're thinking about homebirth or you've been offered an induction of labour or cesarean birth or you want to know about your rights or help advocating for yourself...or maybe you just have a few specific questions about different topics. We can have a 15 min video call if you'd prefer that

Step 2 - we'll arrange a day and time to meet

Step 3 - We'll meet for about an hour, either in person or by video call, to discuss information and resources I've collected for your situation.

I have 3 spaces available for FREE sessions, I'll just ask for your feedback. Slide into my DMs now 📩

✨28 months alcohol free ✨

Giving up alcohol has been one of the very best choices I've ever made for myself, as a person and as a parent. My mental health has never been great but the effects of drinking were absolutely debilitating. Add in 3 kids and a long overdue separation mid-pandemic and I was barely coping. I was never an every day drinker but I never saw the point in having just one or two and the hangovers got worse and worse.
It felt really scary to even think about stopping because I'd been drinking since I was 14 and I didn't know how to socialise without it but in the end I had to stop. Turns out that when I'm not spending loads of money on cocktails or spending my days absolutely hangin I can afford to do other fun things and have the energy and motivation to be a better mum and try new hobbies?!

Anyway a bit of a ramble but just wanted to normalise sobriety a wee bit. Always happy to chat about my experience and if you're sober curious or ready to give up the prosecco I can't recommend working with enough, her support changed everything for me ✨
