Helping trauma survivors & sensitive souls remember their inner light without expensive retreats | Author of "From Broken to Brilliant" | SRT Practitioner | Transforming pain into purpose, one story at a time ✨✨

There’s something powerful about finding your way back to yourself.

Not the version of you that existed before the pain.
Not the version others expected you to be.
But the version that emerges when you finally stop abandoning yourself.

Sometimes healing isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about remembering who you were before you forgot. ✨

And when you finally find that person again, protect them. Listen to them. Choose them.

Because coming home to yourself is one of the most profound forms of transformation.

Sometimes the clearest sign that you’re becoming more yourself is noticing who you feel most like yourself around. ✨

Pay attention to the people who make you feel lighter, safer, more curious, more playful and more alive.

The right connections don’t require you to shrink, perform or constantly explain yourself. They create space for you to expand into who you’re becoming.

And equally important: notice how you feel after you leave someone’s presence.

Do you feel nourished — or depleted?
More connected to yourself — or further away from yourself?

Your relationships can be mirrors. Sometimes they show you exactly where you are in your own healing journey.

Choose the people and spaces where your authentic self has room to breathe. 💜

This is a theme I explore throughout From Broken to Brilliant — the journey of becoming more conscious of who you are and what you choose to carry forward.

We don’t see things as they are.
We see them as we are. ✨

Our experiences, beliefs, wounds, fears and expectations can all influence the way we interpret the world around us.

Two people can experience the exact same situation and walk away with completely different stories about what happened.

That’s why healing isn’t only about changing what is happening outside of us. Sometimes it begins with becoming curious about what is happening within us.

What are you seeing through the lens of your past?
And what might become possible if you looked again from a place of awareness rather than fear?

This is at the heart of transformation: Awareness ✦ Alignment ✦ Transformation.

I explore many of these themes through my work and in my book, From Broken to Brilliant.

Be rare. 🦆✨

The world has enough copies.

There is something powerful about refusing to shrink yourself just to fit in.

You don’t have to dress like everyone else.
Think like everyone else.
Live like everyone else.
Or follow a path simply because everyone around you is walking it.

Your uniqueness isn’t something you need to explain away — it’s part of your gift.

And sometimes becoming more fully yourself means letting go of the need to be understood, approved of, or accepted by everyone.

I explore that journey of finding your voice, reclaiming your identity and becoming more fully yourself in my memoir, From Broken to Brilliant.

Don’t become a copy trying to belong.

Be the original. ✨

Forgiveness is often misunderstood.

You can forgive someone without saying what they did was okay.
You can forgive without forgetting.
You can forgive without allowing them back into your life.
And sometimes, forgiveness isn’t even the first step.

Sometimes the first step is simply reclaiming your power.

The moment their actions stop controlling your thoughts, your choices, your peace and your sense of self — something begins to change.

For me, healing has never been about pretending the past didn’t happen. It has been about understanding it, processing it, releasing what no longer belongs to me, and choosing who I want to become because of it.

That journey of turning pain into awareness and reclaiming yourself is something I explore deeply in my memoir, From Broken to Brilliant.

You don’t have to rewrite your past.

You just don’t have to keep living inside it. ✨

Fear can make us live from the mind.

We analyse.
We overthink.
We anticipate what could go wrong.
We try to control the outcome.

But courage asks something different:

What happens when you stop letting fear make every decision for you?

Living from the heart doesn’t mean ignoring your mind or throwing caution to the wind. It means learning to listen to your intuition, trust yourself and move forward even when you don’t have every answer.

I’ve learned that some of the biggest transformations in my own life began when I stopped asking, “What if everything goes wrong?” and started asking, “What if I trust myself?”

That journey — moving beyond fear, reclaiming yourself and becoming more fully who you are — is at the heart of my memoir, From Broken to Brilliant.

Fear may be part of your story.

It doesn’t have to write the ending. 🦋✨

Sometimes healing isn’t about fixing the situation.

It’s about recognising when it’s time to walk away. 🌿

Walk away from people who constantly make you question your worth.

Walk away from arguments where being understood matters more than finding peace.

Walk away from the need to prove yourself to people who have already decided how they want to see you.

And perhaps most importantly, walk away from the version of yourself that keeps shrinking, explaining, overgiving and people-pleasing just to keep the peace.

Walking away doesn’t always mean you stopped caring.

Sometimes it means you finally started caring about yourself too.

I know this one personally. Learning to stop carrying what was never mine, to establish boundaries and to choose myself has been a significant part of my own transformation — and something I explore through my memoir, From Broken to Brilliant.

You don’t have to burn bridges.

You don’t have to make someone the villain.

Sometimes you simply need to say:

“This is no longer healthy for me.”

And keep walking. 🦋

Be an energy converter. ✨

Life is going to bring you things you didn’t ask for.

People will misunderstand you.
Plans will change.
Disappointments will happen.
Some experiences will hurt.

But what if the goal isn’t to avoid difficult energy — but to learn how to work with it without allowing it to consume you?

You cannot always control what comes towards you.

You can control what you create from it.

Pain can become wisdom.
Anger can become boundaries.
Fear can become courage.
Loss can become growth.
Challenges can become transformation.

That doesn’t mean pretending everything happens for a reason or forcing yourself to find a positive lesson in every painful experience.

Sometimes something is simply painful.

But you still get to decide what happens next.

This is something I’ve explored deeply through my own journey and in my memoir, From Broken to Brilliant — transforming what I’ve lived through into something that can serve my growth rather than define me.

Don’t absorb everything life throws at you.

Transmute it. Transform it. Become more of yourself. ✨

There’s a difference between being calm and being regulated. ✨

Sometimes we’re so focused on appearing peaceful, positive and “spiritual” that we forget to ask ourselves a much more important question:

Am I actually being honest with myself?

You can meditate.
You can breathe.
You can practise mindfulness.
You can do all the “right” things…

…but if underneath it all you’re suppressing your feelings, saying yes when you mean no, abandoning your own needs or constantly performing for other people, there may be something deeper asking to be acknowledged.

For me, healing has never been about becoming someone who never feels anger, sadness, frustration or discomfort.

It has been about becoming honest enough to feel what is there without allowing it to control me.

Sometimes the most healing thing you can say is:

“This isn’t okay for me.”
“I don’t want this anymore.”
“I need something different.”
“This is how I really feel.”

Authenticity isn’t always comfortable.

But pretending to be okay when you aren’t can come at a much greater cost.

This is a theme that runs deeply through my own journey and my memoir, From Broken to Brilliant — learning to stop abandoning yourself in order to be accepted by others.

Your healing doesn’t require you to become someone else.

It may simply require you to come home to yourself. 🦋

TRANSmute. Don’t absorb. ✨

Not everything that enters your life deserves to become part of you.

Some energy will challenge you.
Some people will trigger you.
Some situations will test you.
And some experiences will hurt.

But you always have a choice about what you do with what you receive.

You can absorb it.
You can carry it.
You can allow it to define you.

Or you can transmute it.

Take the anger and turn it into awareness.
Take the pain and turn it into wisdom.
Take the disappointment and turn it into discernment.
Take the experience and let it become part of your transformation — without allowing it to become your identity.

For me, this has been a huge part of my own journey and something I explore throughout my memoir, From Broken to Brilliant — the movement from what happened to me towards what I chose to become.

You don’t have to control everything that happens around you.

Your power is in how you respond.

What are you ready to transmute? ✨
