This week was all about the love. We had the kids preparing and making some tasty treats full of love. They made some mini heart pizzas topped with little cheese hearts which were a huge success. Then we had some little heart shaped cookies which were then personalised. Unfortunately didn't get any pictures of the finished product as they were so yummy the kids couldn't resist eating them all 🀣

The winter nights are drawing in but that doesn't stop our kids. There were the usual fun and games with UTD Sports Ltd and what better after being outside than to come into a fresh made cup of soup.

Soup on the menu last night was chicken noodle and it was delicious. Well done to Patrick who made this with some adult help, but just a little help 😊

The Entertainer

We are extremely proud to be the sponsors of the National Autistic Society’s Autism Hour 2018, which will run 6th to 13th October.

So, in addition to the Quiet Hour we run every Saturday for the first hour of opening in every The Entertainer store, we will also be supporting Autism Hour for the first hour of opening 6th to 13th October.

We strongly believe that our stores should be a welcoming and safe space for all children and families....difficulties and disability should NEVER be a stumbling block to experiencing the magic of a visit to the toy shop!

We had a fantastic evening at Badminton Centre And Bouncy Castle Carnival this week. The kids had so much fun, there are so many different types of bouncy castles, it's fun for all ages. Though I think some of the adults were a little shy about joining in with the kids 🀣. Thanks to the staff for allowing us a session for the kids, they really had a great time.

This week we had some sensory bath bomb making going on in club. We improvised with some of the ingredients as we didn't have citric acid so some effervescent vitamins were used instead. Here's hoping it has the same effect 🀞🀞

We also had sports and games with the coaches. Lots of team building and turn taking going on 😊

More fantastic fun recently in club. Some creative fun with recycled Avon books, under our arts tutor Consuelo the children became live pieces of art ❀️ Art and crafts continued outside with some chalk fun going on too.

UTD Sports Ltd had the kids engaging in some kickball, team building games and some playground games as well. This has been a huge success with children who wouldn't normally try these activities participating. We also had some parents joining in too which is also fantastic to see.

There was a bake off going on in the kitchen with our volunteers Sophie and Kirstyann. It was cookies versus chocolate muffins. All made from scratch with chocolate icing and some buttercream icing. It was too hard to decide as both were equally delicious and enjoyed by everyone.

Well done to all the children participating, your confidence and ability grows every time πŸ‘

Play As One Scotland

Well what can we say about today's official opening of our new play park at Pittencreiff Park Dunfermline. It was truly amazing to see so many people who all looked like they were having so much fun.
A huge thank you to the First Minister for taking time out of her busy schedule to open the park for us. It was fantastic to see so many of you asking for selfies and her not saying no to anyone.
Thank you so much for everyone who turned up and made this a day I will certainly never forget.
Last but certainly not least I want to thank all the present trustees Colin, Gerry, John, Kevin, Scott and Tony, the past trustees Alan, Gordon, Mike and Richard and all our friends and family who have helped us in every way possible to make this day possible.
I write this message feeling very happy but also humble for what has been achieved.
THANK YOU
Brian
