That little thumbs up after surviving another day of parenting. 😂

Honestly, half term is a whole different level of juggling.

Work, kids, family, the house, changing plans, moving appointments around and somehow trying to squeeze in a bit of time for yourself. 🤯

Sometimes I genuinely don’t know how I’ve fitted it all in, but here we are… thumbs up, still standing, ready for the next round. LFG 💪🏼

And I’m not pretending I’ve got it all perfectly organised either. I have to adapt, move things around, make compromises and sometimes say no because there’s only so much one person can do.

But one thing I do try not to compromise on is showing up for myself. When I make time to train, move my body and look after myself, I have so much more to give everyone else.

We spend so much time looking after everyone else. So to all the mums and dads holding the fort, don’t forget the person behind all the juggling.

You deserve some time and energy too. 👊🏼

Struggling to find time for yourself amongst the chaos? You don’t have to do it all perfectly. You just need a plan that works around your life. Drop me a DM if you need a hand making that happen 🥰

How often do you put yourself at the bottom of the priority list?

Kids, partners, work, family, responsibilities… there’s always someone or something that needs your time 🤷🏻‍♀️

And before you know it, you’ve given everyone else the best of you and left yourself with whatever’s left.

I’ve been there. For a long time, I wondered why I was constantly overwhelmed, exhausted and stuck in a cycle of burnout and to be honest quite lonely at times.

The hard truth? I was making everyone else a priority while neglecting the one person who really needed me to show up… ME.

Your training, your nutrition, your health, your goals, your downtime. These aren’t luxuries you earn once everything else is done.

Stop waiting for the perfect time. Stop putting your goals on hold. Make the time, set boundaries and start giving yourself the same energy you give everyone else.

When you look after yourself, you have so much more to give to the people who matter. Plus you don’t build so many resentments either 😬

You can’t keep pouring from an empty cup and expect it to magically refill.

Go after what you want. Make yourself a priority. You deserve to be in your own life, not just everyone else’s. ❤️

And if you needed a reminder today, let this be it.

What is ONE thing you’ve been putting off for yourself? 👇🏼

Got the lurgy? 🤒 Don’t worry your gains aren’t going anywhere. 🖤

Especially when you’ve got kids bringing home every bug going around 😳 they need cuddles and all you want to do is give them cuddles, but they’re basically little germ factories. ✋🏼

I know missing workouts or not sticking to your nutrition plan can feel frustrating when you’re working towards a goal.

But resting when you’re ill or under more stress from having to look after the family isn’t falling off track. It’s part of the process.

You don’t need to feel guilty for missing a session, eating differently when you’re poorly, or taking a few days to recover.

Listen to your body!!

Rest. Recover. Get back to it when you’re ready.

A few missed workout won’t undo months of consistency. But pushing through when your body needs rest can make recovery harder.

Regulate. Strengthen. Recover. 🔁

Sometimes discipline means showing up. Sometimes it means knowing when NOT to.

And when the kids bring home another bug?

As Nirvana said - Oh well, whatever, never mind. 🤘🏼😂🖤

YOU CAN’T KEEP PUSHING YOUR BODY TO ITS LIMITS AND EXPECT IT TO THRIVE. 🔥

Progress isn’t just about doing more. It’s knowing when to push, when to pause, and what your body needs to keep moving forward.

REGULATE. 🧠
Manage your stress. Protect your peace. Set boundaries. Know when to say no. Stop running on empty and expecting your body to keep up.

STRENGTHEN. 💪🏼
Get to the gym when you said you would. Fuel your body properly. Build strength, confidence and consistency. Do the work, even when motivation is nowhere to be found.

RECOVER. 🌿
Prioritise sleep over scrolling. Take your rest days. Make time to switch off. Recovery isn’t laziness - it’s part of the process.

You don’t need to get everything right, every single day.

Whether it’s discipline, motivation, focus or a little obsession that gets you through the door, if it helps you take action and move closer to your goals, it’s a win.

Progress isn’t just about how hard you can push. It’s about how well you look after yourself along the way.

REGULATE. STRENGTHEN. RECOVER. REPEAT. 🔁

Thanks for noticing. 😂💪🏼

Now entering hibernation mode 🐻❄️
Avoiding germs, dodging illnesses, hiding from the cold and looking like an Eskimo in approximately 17 layers. 🥶😂

But don’t get it twisted… I’ll still be showing up and putting in the work as always.

And when the sun finally comes out next year?
Still 🔥💥 Just give me a few months to defrost. ☀️😂

Where are my cold gym girlies at? 🥶👇🏼 Tell me I’m not the only one already counting down to summer! 😬

Let’s be honest… getting out of bed when it’s dark, cold and cosy under the duvet is HARD. 🥶

Suddenly, every excuse in the book sounds reasonable.

Five more minutes.
I’ll start tomorrow.
I’ll get back on track when the weather gets better.

But this is where discipline comes in.

Stop listening to the part of you that craves comfort make decisions for the person you want to become.

It’s so easy to put things off until life gets easier or your ducks are in a row (they never are!). Before you know it, another year has passed, and you’re wishing you’d started sooner.

Don’t sleep through the season that could change how you feel about yourself next year.

Remind yourself daily of your goals.
Remember WHY you started.
Keep showing up, especially when you don’t feel like it.

Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it takes discipline. But consistency builds strength, confidence and trust in yourself.

Be grateful that you GET to show up for yourself. You get to move your body, build your strength and invest in your own wellbeing.

So get up. Get dressed. Put the work in.

Stop talking about the person you want to be and start taking action.

Put your money where your mouth is. Keep going. 🔥❤️

The hardest truth to face is this👇🏼

A year from now, nothing will change unless you do.

Not because you haven’t achieved enough.
Not because you should be further ahead.
But because you know deep down that you want more for yourself… And yet, it’s so easy to keep putting things off 😞

Waiting for the right time.
Waiting until life feels less busy.
Waiting until you feel more motivated, more confident, more ready.

But life will keep happening. There will always be something that needs your attention, someone who needs you, or a reason to put yourself last.

And I think that’s where we lose ourselves a little.

We get so caught up in getting through life that we forget to actually LIVE IT!!

Sometimes change means getting uncomfortable. Sometimes it means being honest with yourself about the habits, choices and situations that are keeping you stuck.

And sometimes it means giving yourself a bit of grace, recognising how much you’ve carried, and understanding that starting again isn’t failure.

You don’t have to change everything overnight.
You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.
You just have to start choosing yourself, one decision at a time.

Because a year from now, you can either be grateful you took that first step or wish you had.

You deserve to see what happens when you stop putting yourself last. 🤗

So, what’s one thing you know you need to change, but keep putting off?

One of the hardest lessons in life is learning that you can be a good person and still disappoint people.

For a long time, it’s easy to feel responsible for how everyone else feels. To overexplain, overgive and keep the peace, even when it costs you your own.

Growth teaches you that choosing yourself doesn’t mean you’re choosing against anyone else.

You can love people and still have boundaries.
You can forgive and still walk away.
You can be kind and still say no.
And you can outgrow what once felt familiar without feeling guilty for it.

Not everyone will understand your boundaries. Some people will only understand the version of you that never had any.

Let them misunderstand.

You know what it took to get here. The lessons, the sacrifices, the moments that changed you. You don’t need everyone to understand your journey for your growth to be real.

Protect your peace. Honour your worth. Stop apologising for the person you had to fight to become. 🥰

If you’re learning this, too, take this as your reminder that you’re allowed to choose yourself. 🙌🏼

✨ Just a bit of fun for a Sunday…

Apparently I’m in my Disney princess warrior era. 😂

Plot twist: the princess stopped waiting for rescue and started building the whole kingdom herself. 👑⚔️

Part princess, part warrior, part wildly committed to unnecessary side quests. 😬

A little magic. A lot of muscle. A soft heart, big dreams and zero interest in being saved. 💪🏼

There are demons to slay, people to love, dreams to chase and a life to live and I’m showing up for all of it. 🐉🏰

Plot twists? Plenty.
Character development? On going.
Happily ever after? I’m writing every chapter myself. ❤️

And let’s be clear… this princess does her own stunts. 😉
