Tameside Integrated Infant Feeding Team We are a service that works in partnership with Maternity, Health Visiting, Family Hubs and Home Start Breastfeeding Support.

We provide specialist clinics for more complex feeding challenges. All staff are trained to the UNICEF BFI standards.

'I started having really intense feelings while I was breastfeeding that almost felt like my skin was crawling and I felt really irritated. I spoke to my Health Visitor about it and she explained about breastfeeding aversion. She gave me some information and techniques to try when the feeling came over me, and they have really help distract me while I'm experiencing it. I'm so pleased she helped me figure it out and gave me ways to cope. It's meant I've been able to continue to breastfeed when I was feeling like I'd have to stop.'
