Today we're celebrating AHPs Day 2026! 💙

Allied health professionals are the 3rd largest clinical workforce across health and care, and today is an opportunity to recognise the remarkable contribution they make to patients and communities every day.

At Promni Health, we're incredibly proud of our AHP colleagues .... including our physiotherapists, occupational therapists and podiatrists - delivering care across primary and community settings throughout the NHS.

This year's theme is , recognising the contribution AHPs make through putting people first, optimising care, tackling health inequalities, embracing innovation and strengthening the AHP community.

To all our AHP colleagues at Promni Health ... thank you for your expertise, compassion and commitment, and for the difference you make every day.

And a very happy to AHP colleagues across the NHS and wider health and care system.

🧠 World Mental Health Day 2026

This year’s World Mental Health Day is a reminder of the importance of listening to people with lived experience and ensuring their voices help shape the care and support they receive.

At Promni Health, we believe that everyone deserves access to the right mental health support, at the right time, and as close to home as possible.

Through our Enhanced Practice Mental Health Nurses, we’re working alongside NHS partners to strengthen mental health services in Primary Care — helping patients access specialist expertise earlier, supporting GP capacity and delivering more care within local communities.

But improving mental health services isn’t just about increasing capacity. It’s about listening, understanding individual needs and making sure people receive the most appropriate support.

Today, we recognise the patients, clinicians and wider NHS teams working together to make that possible.

On Friday, some of our Senior Management Team and Service Managers got together in Leeds for our quarterly away day.

These days are always a valuable opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, reflect on how far we’ve developed and focus on the strategic priorities and growth opportunities ahead.

A special thank you to Kiran from DKJ for joining us and sharing her insights on the evolving neighbourhood health landscape. We had some great discussion around Single and Multi-Neighbourhood Providers, emerging local service specifications, and how Promni Health can continue to support our primary care partners as these new models develop.

And, as always, we finished the day with a team social! A big thank you to Escape Hunt UK for hosting us for The Fourth Samurai …. pleased to report that the team successfully completed the challenge! ⚔️🗝️

🏆 We’re delighted to be finalists in the 2026 LaingBuisson Awards!

Promni Health has been shortlisted for Best in Primary Care & Diagnostics for our work with Bordesley East Primary Care Network, delivering an innovative Work & Wellbeing pathway in primary care.

The pathway takes a different approach to work-related ill health ... moving beyond traditional fit note provision to focus on earlier intervention, functional recovery, rehabilitation and helping patients remain in or return to work.

Between February and June 2026, the programme delivered:

➡️ 213 attended patient consultations
➡️ 94 onward referrals into WorkWell and associated services
➡️ An estimated 53.25 hours of GP clinical capacity released

Having previously won this category in 2023 and 2025, we’re incredibly proud to be recognised again and particularly pleased to see our growing work across new models of primary and neighbourhood care being recognised.
