A Full Moon of illumination, release and coming back to the self.

Aries carries the energy of fire, courage, identity and action. It reminds us of the part of ourselves that knows who we are beneath the conditioning, the expectations and the versions of ourselves we may have created to keep the peace.

This Full Moon asks us:

Where have you been dimming your fire?

Where have you been compromising your truth or abandoning parts of yourself for others?

And what are you now ready to release so you can step more fully into who you are becoming?

This is an invitation to let old identities, patterns and attachments fall away, creating space for your own inner fire to rise again.

14 years today since my beautiful nan passed away 🤍

My nan was such a huge part of my life. We had the most incredible bond and were so, so close. She taught me so much about life, love, strength and knowing my own worth.

Every year on my birthday, without fail, I’d get one of her lectures…

“You’re this age now, Samantha. You need to do this, you need to do that. I can’t keep telling you!”

But somehow, she still told me every year 😂🤍

She had such a dry sense of humour and so much wisdom.

One thing she would always say was:

“Years ago we had nothing, but we had everything. Today you have everything, but you have nothing.”

And the older I get, the more I understand exactly what she meant.

She taught me about self love, strength, staying in my power and not suffering fools gladly. She also used to tell me to always keep 10% of my heart for myself.

There has been so much ancestral healing through my motherline, through my mum, my nan and the women who came before them, and now through me.

I’ve come to understand that our ancestors can leave us patterns to heal, but they also leave us wisdom, strength, resilience and love to carry forward.

Grief may change with time, but love never leaves us. ❤️

And I’m so grateful that even 14 years later, I still feel my nan around me, guiding me in her own way.

Today I honour you, Nan, and all the women who walked before me.

Some things we are here to heal.
Some things we are here to carry forward.
And some love stays in our hearts forever. 🤍

Light Language is your own unique soul expression, and sometimes the signs begin appearing before you even realise what’s happening.

I have just returned from four deeply transformative days sitting with the Rose and the medicine. 🌹🌵

Pink Rose.
Red Rose.
White Rose.
And San Pedro.

And WOW… what a journey through the many chambers of my heart.

The Rose and San Pedro wove together beautifully, taking me deeply into love, grief and loss, into the places I had abandoned myself and the parts of my heart still holding pain and memories from a chapter of my life that changed me profoundly.

There were tears for the people I have loved and lost. Tears for the life I thought I would have. Tears for versions of myself I had left behind.

And through it all, one message kept returning:

Choose yourself.

I was shown that I can love deeply and still choose myself.

That love alone just isn’t enough.

That innerstanding the deeper soul lessons within a connection doesn’t mean dismissing what happened on a human level.

We can honour the love and still honour the pain.
Recognise the lessons and still acknowledge the wounds.
Forgive and let go without abandoning ourselves again.

And somewhere within all of that grief, something started returning:

Me.

My expression.
My sensuality.
My creativity.
My softness.
My fire.
My heart.

The Pink Rose opened me into tenderness, love and creativity.

The Red Rose brought me deeper into my body, my sensuality, my expression and the fire of being alive.

The White Rose brought purity — a returning to my centre and a remembrance of who I am underneath everything I have carried.

And I realised this journey wasn’t simply about what I was releasing.

It was about what was coming back to me.

The woman underneath the grief.
The woman underneath the survival.
The woman underneath the stories.

The woman who no longer needs to abandon herself to experience love.

I am still integrating. Still listening. Still allowing the Rose and the medicine to weave through me.

I don’t know what comes next, and right now, I don’t need to.

I only know that I am choosing myself.

And I am returning home to my own heart, with so much gratitude and openness to life. 🌹🤍

We often cling to drama, unpredictable energy, or draining situations simply because our body knows how to survive them. When chaos has been your baseline for so long, true peace can actually feel unsafe to your nervous system.
When things get quiet, we catch ourselves looking for the next fire to put out. But peace isn’t boring, it’s foreign.
Healing isn’t just about breaking the pattern; it’s about teaching your nervous system that it is safe to rest, safe to choose quiet, and safe to let go of what exhausts you. You don’t have to live in survival mode anymore. Choose the peace, even when it feels weird at first.
