β€œJust one more biscuit.” πŸͺ Snacking habits can be shaped by stress, hunger, reward, convenience, social situations and the world around us, which is why lasting change is rarely as simple as knowing what to eat.

Meet Sophie, James, Emma and Alex πŸ‘‰ four very different patients with four very different reasons for reaching for something sweet. Their stories are a reminder that no two snacking habits look the same. 🍫

So, are you up to date with the latest evidence to support patients like them?

Join us for our upcoming webinar: The Science Behind Snacking: Behaviour and Habit Change, Gut Signalling and Sweet Taste Science πŸ“

Hear from Eva Marija Čad, Jane Ogden and Sophie Medlin as they unpack the latest evidence on sweet taste, behaviour change, and fibre, satiety and gut signalling. We’ll explore five common sweet-snacking situations and how to translate the evidence into practical, person-centred strategies, so you can support lasting behaviour change with confidence.

🚨 JOIN US THIS EVENING! 🌱 Bridging the GLP-1 Nutrition Guidance Gap: The Keystone to Patient Success πŸ’‰

GLP-1 therapies are changing how we support people living with overweight and obesity, but nutrition guidance is struggling to keep pace. Reduced appetite brings real risks of malnutrition, muscle loss and GI side effects, and many practitioners are left without clear, practical direction. πŸ”¬

πŸŽ™οΈ Tonight, we’re joined by Soraya Pineda and Anna-Lena Klapp. Together they’ll explore the evolving incretin-based therapy landscape and the evidence for where plant-based nutrition fits in. πŸ₯—πŸ“Š

We’ll cover:
βœ… The key trends shaping the incretin-based therapy landscape
βœ… The rationale for considering plant-based nutrition alongside incretin-based therapies, and the current evidence base for this approach
βœ… How a plant-forward framework can help meet protein, fibre and micronutrient needs within a reduced caloric intake
βœ… Common GI side effects of GLP-1 therapy and the dietary factors that may help relieve them

It’s not too late. Sign up today and join us live tonight.

Are we equipped to put lifestyle medicine into practice? 🌱πŸ₯

Lifestyle medicine is gaining attention across healthcare, but recent research suggests a gap between recognising its importance and feeling equipped to deliver it.

Two recent studies from the Netherlands and England highlight a telling gap for healthcare professionals:

βœ… In a Dutch academic hospital, 92% of healthcare professionals supported prioritising lifestyle change in healthcare, yet only 14% were familiar with lifestyle medicine.
βœ… In an England-based survey, 48.3% of HCP respondents provided lifestyle-related advice, but only 20.7% had received formal lifestyle medicine training.
βœ… 62.1% of HCP respondents in England wanted further training or resources.
βœ… Time, training and practical implementation emerged as key barriers.

As the Dutch authors conclude, "Greater awareness, practical support, and training seem key for successful implementation." πŸ”¬

For nutrition professionals, this raises an important question: how do we move from knowing about lifestyle medicine to confidently putting it into practice?

πŸ’¬ How would you rate your own knowledge of lifestyle medicine? And what would help you feel more confident applying it?

Join us at the Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine Conference 2026 to explore the latest evidence and practical approaches across obesity and GLP-1s, behaviour change, diabetes, healthy ageing, food environments and sustainability.
