My theme for this Greece retreat was Returning. Yogic philosophy, Buddhist psychology, and Greek myths all speak of the return to the true self.
To reclaim and remember the version of you that is most expansive, most connected, and most alive.
Homer’s Odyssey is part of an Ancient Greek narrative tradition of the return journey.
After the challenges and commitments of our duty, we seek the path home. Forever changed and yet intimately connected to who we once were, and what is rightfully ours.
All the poems, ancient texts and readings I shared in our daily yoga practices spoke to this idea.
Like ocean tides, we shift, change, and eventually return to the vastness of the source of all things.
My heartfelt wish for our beautiful group this week has been to reconnect to what feels most alive and authentic in themselves 💙
