These are one of those recipes you can make differently every time, depending on what you have in the fridge.

It’s packed with protein, fibre, healthy fats and colourful plant foods, making it a really satisfying option for breakfast, lunch or a quick dinner.

INGREDIENTS:

For the green egg wrap:
• 2 eggs
• 1 generous handful of rocket, spinach or kale
• 1 handful fresh parsley or your favourite herbs
• 1 tsp za’atar1 tsp olive oil, for cooking
• Salt & pepper, to taste

For the toppings:
• 1 tsp red pepper dip
• 1 tsp hummus
• 1 large tomato, quartered
• ¼ red onion, finely sliced1 handful rocket
• ½ avocado

METHOD:

1. Add the eggs, greens, fresh herbs and za’atar to a blender. Season with a little salt and pepper, then blend until smooth and vibrant green.

2. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat.

3. Pour in the egg mixture and spread it evenly across the pan, like a thin pancake. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the base is set.

4. Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 1–2 minutes, until cooked through.

5. Transfer to a plate and spread over the hummus and red pepper dip.

6. Top with the tomato, red onion, rocket and avocado.

7. Fold or roll and enjoy straight away.

💡This is a brilliant use-what-you-have recipe. Try coriander, mint or basil in the wrap, and switch up the toppings with roasted vegetables, cucumber, olives, feta, leftover chicken or beans.

A little throwback to our Essential Fibre+ launch, where we brought together our expert community to talk about the weird and wonderful jobs of one of the most important nutrients out there: fibre. 🌾

Because for all the noise around wellness, one of the most meaningful things we can do for our long-term health is also one of the simplest: eat more fibre.

Simple, though, doesn’t always mean easy. 96% of us aren’t getting enough, and fibre matters for so much more than keeping us regular. It feeds the trillions of microbes that make up our gut microbiome, with benefits that reach from digestion and immunity, to skin, blood sugar and beyond.

This is a big part of why we created Essential Fibre+: not to replace a fibre-rich diet, but to make closing that everyday gap that little bit easier.

A year on, we want to hear from you: what’s the one thing that’s helped you get more fibre into your day?

We love autumn, but it also comes with darker mornings, colder runs, and less patience for anything that keeps us up at night. Magnesium doesn’t fix the season. It just gives your muscles and nervous system one less thing to fight.

Most bank holiday spreads are heavy on meat and light on everything else. This one balances a whole chicken, two tins of butter beans and a full tray of cauliflower, covering your protein, fibre, phytonutrients and healthy fats all in one meal. Comment BBQ and we’ll DM you the recipe.

If you’re constantly craving snacks after a “healthy” meal, it’s because not all salads are created equal. Here’s a side-by-side of two salads with very different protein and fibre content, and the physiological difference it makes.

Protein at breakfast isn’t just for people doing 6am gym sessions. It’s for anyone who wants to make it to lunch without needing a snack, a nap, or an argument with the vending machine.

All three of these hit double digit protein — no powders, no bars, just food. The loaf’s dense enough to hold almond butter and raspberries without falling apart. The yogurt bowl layers kefir, chia, and buckwheat granola for a fibre count most people don’t hit all day, let alone by 9am. And the egg wrap is basically a masterclass in getting 38g of protein into something you eat with your hands.

Save this for the next time someone tells you high protein breakfasts have to be boring.
