“LIICA’s primary focus is on healing through the Arts.

The London Independent Iranian Community Artists (LIICA) is a unique association that emerged in 2019 from Saam Theatre Group, a theatre company with twenty years of theatre and community work experience in the UK. As an immigrant and a community activist for over twenty years, I’ve been deeply committed to the transformative power of artistic activities. Our long-standing programs have been a lifeline for many exiled Iranians, helping them to overcome feelings of solitude, depression, and isolation. They have also been a beacon for people of all ages, guiding them away from extremist groups and towards social integration within the English and English Iranian communities.”
