Do you ever feel like your body is stressed, even when there’s nothing particularly stressful happening?

You might have finished work, ticked everything off your list and finally found some time to relax.

But your mind is still busy.

Your shoulders are tense. Your jaw is tight. You’re restless, overthinking, or finding it difficult to switch off.

And sometimes you can’t even explain why.

When we experience ongoing stress or anxiety, our bodies can become accustomed to being on alert. Even when the immediate pressure has passed, that feeling of tension or unease can remain.

And after a while, it can start to feel normal.

But just because you’ve become used to feeling a certain way doesn’t mean you have to ignore it.

This is where Craniosacral Therapy may offer something different.

Through gentle touch, stillness and deep listening, I create a space where you don’t have to do anything, achieve anything or hold everything together.

We work at your pace, supporting relaxation, body awareness and nervous system regulation.

It’s not about forcing your body to relax or making anxiety disappear. It’s about creating the conditions where you can begin to slow down, notice what’s happening and explore what you might need.

Because sometimes the first step towards feeling different is recognising how you’ve been feeling all along.

If you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, poor sleep or persistent physical tension, let’s start with a conversation.

I offer Craniosacral Therapy in Maidstone, Kent, with a free 15-minute phone consultation if you’d like to find out whether my approach could be right for you.

What if the way you talk about your anxiety is actually keeping you stuck?

“My anxiety.”
“I’ve always been anxious.”
“I’m just an anxious person.”

Sound familiar?

Anxiety is a natural response to perceived danger or uncertainty. It’s our body’s way of alerting us that something might need our attention.

But when stress becomes constant, and we rarely get the opportunity to slow down, that feeling of anxiety can become all too familiar.

We start carrying it around like an old friend. We give it a permanent place in our lives, and sometimes it becomes part of how we describe ourselves.

But experiencing anxiety and being an anxious person are not the same thing.

Our thoughts influence how we feel, and how we feel influences our thoughts. Without realising it, we can become caught in patterns that reinforce anxiety.

This doesn’t mean anxiety is your fault, or that changing your words alone will make it disappear.

But becoming aware of how you think, feel and respond can be an important step towards change.

Anxiety is something you experience. It doesn’t have to be your identity.

If you’re struggling with anxiety, chronic stress, overwhelm or finding it difficult to switch off, let’s have a conversation.

Through Craniosacral Therapy and Counselling, I offer a gentle, supportive space to explore what’s happening for you, develop awareness and support nervous system regulation.

You don’t have to wait until things get worse before you do something about how you’re feeling.

Maybe you’re dealing with ongoing neck and shoulder tension, headaches, jaw clenching, poor sleep, stress or anxiety. Perhaps you’ve become so used to pushing through that feeling tense, tired or overwhelmed has started to feel normal.

Craniosacral Therapy offers a different approach.

Rather than simply chasing symptoms, we slow things down and explore what might be keeping your body and nervous system stuck in the same patterns.

Sessions are gentle, hands-on and tailored to you. The aim is to help reduce tension, settle the nervous system and give your body the opportunity to move towards greater ease.

People come to see me for support with:

Neck and shoulder tension
TMJ and jaw clenching
Headaches and migraines
Stress and anxiety
Poor sleep and insomnia
Chronic pain and tension
Feeling overwhelmed or constantly “on”

You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong before you come. We can start with what you’re experiencing now.

What does Craniosacral Therapy actually look like?

This is a little glimpse into a session.

From the outside, it can look incredibly simple. Gentle touch. Stillness. Time.

But that’s a big part of how I work.

Craniosacral Therapy isn’t about rushing to find an answer or forcing your body to change. It’s about creating the space to slow down, listen and become curious about what’s happening for you.

For some people, that might be physical symptoms such as neck pain, jaw tension, headaches or persistent muscular tension.

For others, it’s stress, anxiety, overwhelm, difficulty switching off, or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right.

And we don’t have to understand everything in one session.

The work is a process. As we spend time together, different sensations, patterns and experiences may become more noticeable. We work with what is present, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Stillness. Safety. Deep listening.

Sometimes, in a world that constantly asks us to do more, having somewhere you don’t have to do anything at all can be valuable.

If you’re curious about Craniosacral Therapy in Maidstone, Kent, you’re welcome to get in touch.

You don’t need to know whether it’s right for you. Tell me what’s been happening, and let’s start there.

What if anxiety isn’t something you can simply think your way out of?

We often associate anxiety with worrying, overthinking and racing thoughts. But anxiety can also show up physically in the body.

A tight jaw. Raised shoulders. A knot in your stomach. A tight chest. Restlessness. That feeling of never quite being able to switch off.

And while some of these patterns may have roots in childhood, they don’t always.

Our nervous system continues to respond and adapt to our experiences throughout life. Stress, grief, difficult relationships, accidents, illness, trauma and prolonged periods of pressure can all influence how we respond to what’s happening around us.

Sometimes, instead of asking, “How do I stop feeling anxious?”, we can become curious about what the body is experiencing too.

Craniosacral Therapy offers an opportunity to slow things down, reconnect with your body and notice what may be happening underneath all that thinking.

Because sometimes feeling calmer isn’t about thinking harder.

It’s about reconnecting with the body.

I offer Craniosacral Therapy in Maidstone, Kent. If anxiety, stress or feeling constantly “on” sounds familiar, get in touch to arrange a free 15-minute conversation about whether Craniosacral Therapy might be right for you.

Most people don’t come to see me because they’re looking for Craniosacral Therapy.

They come because they’re struggling with something—physically, emotionally or in a way that’s difficult to explain.

They may be experiencing:

Recurring neck pain
Jaw tension or TMJ discomfort
Headaches or migraines
Chronic or muscular pain
Difficulty sleeping
Stress or anxiety
Feeling overwhelmed, constantly on edge or unable to switch off

Or they may simply say:

“I don’t feel like myself.”

You don’t need to understand Craniosacral Therapy or know exactly what you need before getting in touch. We start with what’s happening for you—how you’re feeling, what you’ve been experiencing and what you’d like to feel different.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that supports relaxation, body awareness and nervous system regulation. My approach considers you as a whole person, rather than focusing on a single symptom.

Tell me what’s been happening. Let’s start there.

I offer Craniosacral Therapy in Maidstone, Kent, along with a free 15-minute phone conversation if you’d like to talk before booking.

Maybe healing isn’t about going back to who you were before.

When we experience trauma, chronic stress, anxiety or difficult emotional experiences, they don’t simply disappear when the event is over.

Our experiences can shape our behaviours, thought patterns, relationships and the way our nervous system responds to the world around us. Sometimes we’re conscious of these patterns. Sometimes they’re happening quietly beneath the surface.

For me, Craniosacral Therapy isn’t about erasing the past or trying to turn you back into an old version of yourself.

It’s about creating safety and stillness, developing greater body awareness, and supporting nervous system regulation so there can be more space, flexibility and choice in how you respond today.

Perhaps healing from emotional trauma isn’t about becoming who you were before.

Perhaps it’s about being shaped by what happened, without always being controlled by it.

I offer Craniosacral Therapy in Maidstone, Kent, supporting people experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, chronic tension and patterns that can feel difficult to shift.

If this resonates with you, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Get in touch to find out more.

Do you ever suddenly notice that you’re clenching your jaw, and have no idea how long you’ve been doing it?

Maybe it’s while you’re working.

Driving.

Concentrating.

Scrolling through your phone.

Or during a stressful day.

Sometimes we don’t notice the clenching itself. We notice what comes afterwards: a tight or aching jaw, facial tension, headaches, or that feeling that you just can’t quite let your jaw relax.

Jaw clenching can have a number of contributing factors, and stress can be one of them.

That’s why, when someone comes to see me with jaw tension or TMJ discomfort, I’m interested in more than simply where it hurts.

When is it worse?

What else is happening at the time?

Is there a pattern?

How does the rest of your body feel?

Craniosacral Therapy gives us a gentle way of working with the jaw, surrounding areas and the person as a whole, while creating space for the nervous system to settle.

Because sometimes the interesting question isn’t only:

“How do I relax my jaw?”

It’s:

“Why does my body keep tightening it?”

If you’re struggling with jaw tension, clenching or TMJ discomfort, get in touch and let’s have a conversation.

Chronic pain often has a deeper story beneath it.

Pain isn’t always simply about the place that hurts. When pain has been present for months or even years, there can be much more going on beneath the surface.

Past injuries. Ongoing tension. Stress. Protective patterns. Emotional experiences. A nervous system that has become used to staying on alert.

Over time, physical and emotional dysregulation can become intertwined, creating patterns that the body continues to hold long after the original trigger.

This is why, in Craniosacral Therapy, we don’t just focus on where it hurts. We slow things down and listen to the whole body, creating the safety and stillness needed for those deeper patterns to begin to shift.

Because sometimes the symptom is only part of the story.

If you’re living with chronic pain, persistent tension or symptoms that keep returning, Craniosacral Therapy offers a gentle, whole-body approach.
