Isobar Compression Personalised Compression Therapy built from your leg scan to deliver the exact pressure you need. For sport, health and travel. ISOBAR. Engineered for You.

Isobar Compression uses unique technology in its exact-fit compression socks to significantly reduce the risk of DVT in frequent and long-haul flyers. Precisely-fitted compression socks almost entirely eliminate the risk of DVT. By using a 3D scan of both legs, we produce garments that are stitched to an exact fit - making them more effective and comfortable. Isobar compression was developed by a research team at Manchester University, led by Professor of Surgery Charles McCollum, a leading vascular surgeon. They are vastly more effective than off-the-shelf compression, as without a bespoke fit, the pressure delivered by the garment is essentially unknown. Isobar's technology is unique in that it can deliver a bespoke fit as well as accurate, precise pressure. Companies are turning to Isobar Compression to mitigate against the risk of DVT and pulmonary embolism (PE) for businessmen and women who travel frequently. Isobar garments also deliver for elite and amateur athletes. 57 British Olympic medals were won at the last Olympics by athletes using Isobar for post-exercise recovery - with research proving compression reduces muscle soreness after training or competition.

World-class performance. Personalised recovery. 🚴‍♀️🏆

Fresh from her recent BMX Racing World Cup round success in China, Olympic and four-time World Champion Bethany Shriever MBE continues to demonstrate what it takes to compete at the highest level.

As part of her recovery routine, Beth uses the ISOBAR Sport Recovery Kit.

“These go straight on after training. They’re tailored to me, ideal for recovery and part of my everyday routine.”

Following World Thrombosis Day we’re continuing to raise awareness of vascular health and the importance of circulation, particularly in women’s health and sport.

Compression supports circulation and helps manage swelling. But every athlete is different, and the pressure and fit matter.

That’s why ISOBAR is engineered around the individual, delivering defined pressure and personalised fit to support recovery as part of a wider performance routine.

The right pressure. For the right individual. At the right time.

Proud to support Beth and the Great Britain Cycling Team

The next generation of elite cyclists. A more personalised approach to recovery.

At the Netcompany INEOS Racing Academy, recovery is part of building the habits needed for elite performance.

And when it comes to compression, one size doesn’t fit all.

As Rune Talsnes, Coach at Racing Academy, explains:

“Providing fitting and optimal products for each rider is really unique and important to get the most benefit from these tools.”

We’re proud to support the Academy riders with Personalised Compression Therapy, designed around the individual and their recovery needs.

Performance is personal. Recovery should be too.

Every leg has a story. Every individual has different needs.

Following on from World Thrombosis Day, we're raising awareness of vascular health and the importance of a personalised approach to compression therapy.

For runner Fiona Hill, vascular abnormalities in her right leg have caused numbness during physical activity, making running particularly challenging.

Since wearing ISOBAR Active Calf Sleeves, Fiona reports a significant reduction in her symptoms, helping her feel more comfortable when doing what she loves.

Her verdict?

“Game changer! These compression sleeves are brilliant.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fiona's experience reinforces our belief that compression is a therapy and should never be one-size-fits-all.

The right compression matters. But so does being able to wear it.

For people managing venous conditions, compression therapy can play an important role in supporting leg health.

But what happens when compression is difficult to put on, uncomfortable or doesn't fit properly?

This World Thrombosis Day, Tissue Viability Consultant & Lymphoedema Nurse, Sylvie Hampton , shares insights from more than 30 years in clinical practice, including the challenges of treating venous leg ulcers and helping people continue their compression therapy at home.

Discover why personalised fit, defined pressure and comfort matter and why Sylvie sees exciting potential in ISOBAR's approach to Personalised Compression Therapy.

For women, the risk of developing a blood clot can change throughout different stages of life. This World Thrombosis Day, we’re joining the global conversation about thrombosis, women’s health and understanding individual risk.

From pregnancy and hormonal treatments to surgery, prolonged inactivity and long-distance travel, many factors can influence blood clot risk.

At ISOBAR, movement, circulation and individual needs are central to our approach to Personalised Compression Therapy.

Our latest article, “Movement, Circulation and Women’s Health: Why It Matters”, explores how regular movement supports circulation, the factors that can influence thrombosis risk in women, and the impact of travel and prolonged sitting. From the performance team to the players on the pitch. 🏏

We recently heard from jamesfleming89 Head of Athletic Performance at Middlesex Cricket about the role of personalised compression in the club’s recovery strategy.

Now, pace bowler Jamie Feldman shares his perspective.

For Jamie, it’s the ability to personalise compression that makes the difference helping him get the most from his recovery and supporting his performance.
