Who else here has Tinnitus?
It’s so annoying 😩
Mine only started this year at age 54, but it hasn’t gone away yet.
I have the high pitched constant tone though, not ringing.
Not sure which would be worse 🤷🏻‍♀️

The amount of swearing done my head in, but I agree with him 👌My circle is extremely small. It’s mainly just me 🤣

When I explain some of my issues and traits to other people, even people online who I’ve never met, so many people say that it could be as a result of trauma, and I always say that I haven’t experienced any trauma, and that my childhood was fairly good.
I guess I always associate trauma as having suffered physical, or sexual abuse etc, and like other major things.
Historical events in my life are:

Dad started having an affair with his secretary at his business when I was 8 years old.
My Mum found out, and my Mum and Dad spent the next 2 years arguing, until finally divorcing when I was 10 years old. I also knew about the affair.
I used to have days out with my Dad and his new girlfriend and I remember feeling extremely disloyal to my Mum for spending time with this woman.
My Dad went on to have 2 kids with her, before they also split up.
My Mum suffered from depression a lot over the next few years and I had some days off school to stay with her.

I was bullied all through school from the age of 10 until I left school at 16, but then bullied by the same girl if I saw her out in the evenings for the next few years too.

I went to the school in England that had the first gun shooting incident in the country in 1988, where a teacher got shot.
I experienced it at close proximity as the teacher locked the door to the building and wouldn’t let me in, and the gun man was standing some metres behind me and my friend.

I had a pregnancy termination when I was 20, due to feeling pressure from my parents that my life would basically be over if I had a baby at that age. I actually only just remembered this as I was writing out this list of events, so I guess my brain shuts this out.

I had a su***de attempt by carbon monoxide poisoning in my car when I was 21, but didn’t go through with it. I don’t even know why I was going to do it.

I got married in 1999 aged 27, and divorced 2 years later. I had 2 children from that marriage.

I got with a new partner in 2003 and he moved in with me and my 2 daughters. He set fire to my house in 2006, and then he committed su***de the next year in June 2007.

I went into a new relationship in 2015 and I now have a 9 year old daughter, but me and him split up when our daughter was 2 years old.

I have remained happily single out of choice for the last 7.5 years, and intend to stay single.

Do you consider any of this to be classed as experiencing Trauma, and could some of these events still be affecting me, and I just don’t realise? 🤷🏻‍♀️

When you forget to reply to a text, and then as the days go on, you don’t know how to reply to that text, and then you start ruminating about what you think the person will think of you, because you haven’t replied to the text, so you decide to just forget that the text exists, and come to the conclusion that the friendship is probably over, and you never message them again! 😩
I hate this! Why can’t I just tell them this??

Because I’m afraid that they won’t understand, and they’ll think it’s just an excuse for being ignorant!

So, my first week done on Elvanse 20mg.

Slightly less procrastination, as I’ve actually managed to tick a few jobs off my list! 👌

I’ve painted my shed, and repaired and painted all of my garden fences in the last week.

I’ve done a tip run, and been to actual shops, rather than doing it all online.

This actually feels like an improvement, but there is room for more.

I need to have something to compare it to though, as my daughter has been on school holidays all week, and so I’ve had the pool out in the garden, so she’s been playing outside while I work in the garden all week, so unsure if the ‘body doubling’ of her being outside, would have encouraged me to do the jobs anyway.

The big test will be this weekend, while she’s at her dad’s, and next week when she’s back at school.

Wish me luck 👌❤️

What are everyone’s phobia’s?
Mine is spiders!!!! 🕷️

You’d literally think I lived in Australia with the way I live.
I check inside shoes, shake clothes before I put them on, take a handheld Hoover upstairs every night when I go up to bed, in case I spot one in my bedroom 🤣
I’m constantly scanning rooms when I walk into them!
It consumes my life 😩
If I had the choice of 1 million pounds, or for spiders to not exist, then I will chose the latter!
I would have no fears if spiders did not exist.
I couldn’t even have a photo of a real spider on this post, as can’t bare to keep looking at it!

It’s a weird one being AuDHD, because they say Autistic people can’t read faces and emotions etc, but when it’s combined with ADHD, your perception is usually on point 👌
I have the Autistic traits where I don’t really feel connected to people, my social interaction and tactfulness are non existent, and I don’t understand relationships too well, and people are definitely out of sight out of mind, to me, but my ADHD side, makes me be able to read people like a book.
I can spot a liar a mile off, I think of things just before they happen, and I’m an amazing judge of character.
And if I know I’m right about something, then I’m like a dog with a bone, and you can guarantee I’ve got the receipts to back it up, in the form of historical messages, screenshots, and a fkn pie chart thrown in for good measure 🤣🤣
So if we are definitely Autistic, then what makes us be able to override those typical autistic traits, by having ADHD too?
It must be hard for assessors to confirm we have Autism when we are good at some of the things we’re not meant to be good at 🤷🏻‍♀️
In the questionnaire for Autism, it asks if you can read faces and emotions! I can.
I can tell by a voice what someone is thinking or feeling.
I feel very in tune with people in that way, like almost having a sixth sense, and many people have said they find it creepy that I predict things.
I’ll talk about someone or something and then it happens.
Is anyone else like this who has Autism or AuDHD? 🤔
