You want to wake up feeling energised, confident and ready to take on the day but instead you feel sluggish, drained, frustrated and unsure where you are going wrong. I get it…I have been there!!

The 3 biggest mistakes I see women making:

1. Over-complicating Nutrition - you are trying every diet trend, cutting out foods you love and tracking everything you eat. The problem? These rigid approaches create stress, unhealthy eating habits and a disconnect from your body’s natural cues

2. Doing TOO much, TOO fast - you think the key to results is doing MORE, more workouts, more restrictions, more work, more pushing through. THEN and NOW - WOW!! 🤩

One of my beautiful clients is starting to reap the rewards of her investment into her health. She was stuck in a cycle of taking antibiotics for her skin and every time she came off them her skin flared even worse…she didn’t know which way to turn!

We have worked together to understand the underlying issues which have been impacting her skin and she has been consistently taking steps to:
- nourish her body with the nutrients she needs
- balance her gut microbiome after many antibiotics
- help her hormones
- reduce inflammation
- to shift her mindset
- to build her resilience to stress
- to minimise toxin exposure
- to support her digestive, immune and liver health
- to support her nervous system

We have undertaken some functional testing to assess exactly what is happening with her gut health and mineral status and we are answering so many questions as to what is needed to optimise her health going forward!

🌱1% Better Every Week: How Small Habits Lead to Big Changes** 🌱

We often believe that change has to be big and drastic to be meaningful, but the truth is that consistent, small improvements can have a huge impact over time. That’s why I focus on daily 1% habits— small, achievable actions that, when done regularly, lead to massive transformation in our health and well-being. It’s not about getting your small habits perfect every-time…life sometimes gets in the way…but small consistent habits have a compound effect and that’s where the magic in improving your health lies.

Here are a few examples of my daily/weekly 1% habits:

1. 🌅 morning light into my eyes - wakes me up & sets my circadian code for the day
2. 💧 electrolytes in my first drink of the day - cellular hydration
3. 🌱 🫐 adding antioxidants to protect my cells from oxidative stress & damage
4. 🏃‍♀️ walking (and/or skating, weights , yoga) Just gotta move
5. 💫Walking meditations - great way to stack habits..something magical happens when you combine the two….goosebumps every single time ✨
6. I LOVE an arrowword (it’s a family thing) it’s just part of my morning routine…nice way to test my brain/get into my flow state
7. 🫑 Adding extra nutrients - each time you eat it is an opportunity to provide your body with some info! So get some extra veg/fruit/seeds/nuts in there…super boost your plate!
8. 🍎 Pomodoro technique - look it up. Helps me focus and get tasks complete without distraction
9. Gua-sha - my day isn’t complete without it. It improves circulation and delivery of nutrients to my face 😍


Not much on their own BUT the compounding effect of these small habits adds up over time to create lasting, positive change. 🕰️ Every week, your healthy habits make you a little bit better — and before you know it, those small habits have turned into life-changing routines. 🌟

I am seeing this time and time again with hair mineral testing in my practice…

🧠 💥did you know metals such as arsenic, lead, nickel and mercury can really impede your energy levels?

If you are struggling with chronic fatigue, brain fog or a lack of stamina…metal toxicity might just be the underlying cause.

Let me explain how these metals impact energy:

💥 mitochondrial dysfunction - mitochondria are the powerhouses that reside in every cell in our body…they make ATP….which is energy. Toxic metals reduce ATP = feeling drained 🔋 ⚡️

🍎 nutrient malabsorption - metals can block absorption of essential nutrients like magnesium and iron….we need those bad boys to create energy….without them = feeling tired

🤯 adrenal fatigue - chronic exposures to metal toxins is putting stress on your body….which means your adrenal glands become a bit overworked = persistent fatigue and likely not coping with life stress all that well

🏃 thyroid disruption - metals can disrupt the thyroid which can slow down metabolism = feeling sluggish and gaining weight

💫 🎈 42!!!! 40-blimmin-2 😛

Feeling very grateful to have made it here!!

I used to dread the thought of getting older when I was in my 20s…but now I absolutely love it and I have to say…40’s has been the best decade so far!! 30’s were a bit of a slog 🤣 I have more energy, am stronger, fitter, leaner, clearer minded, happier and just more ME than I ever was in my 30’s. Few more grey hairs and wrinkles but who gives a sh*t!!

My aim is to continue to age in strong health….i want my health span to be as long as my life span. I have no fear of dying but I do fear being an old lady with a young mind but a worn out body in dis-ease. I want to be strong, I want to have vibrant energy, I want to play football with my future grandchildren, and still be lifting weights, hiking mountains and getting on my rollerskates….and I will…because that’s what I’m about!!! ✨💥 🛼

Also I am so happy to be doing the job I’m doing now. I have gone from being a Global Business Services Manager in a corporate environment to owning by own business, being the creator of my life, working the hours that suit me in a field that I am passionate about 🩷

I didn’t make the decision to change my job until my late 30’s (and there were plenty of mental barriers to push through to get here) but I’m so glad I did!!! Confidence is just willingness to be uncomfortable for a bit to get to where you want to be…..and it’s NEVER to late to make a change or start something new ✨

Our life on this planet in human form is a flash in the pan…so just go for it and be the person you want to be 💫💥

Was expecting a strug getting the kids up at 6am this morning but they seemed game for getting back into it and went to school with a smile. We have had a mega Summer but now it’s time for some structure and routine….and that means me too.

So today:
