World Menopause Day is an important moment to raise awareness, share information and encourage conversations. But menopause support at work cannot be something we focus on for one day, or even one month, each year; what really matters is what happens afterwards.
It’s whether managers still feel confident having supportive conversations when someone asks for help months from now. Whether practical adjustments are understood and available. Whether colleagues know where to find trusted information and whether leaders continue to make it clear that menopause is something people can talk about openly at work. THAT is where meaningful change happens.
For us, World Menopause Day is not a one-off moment. It is an opportunity to build on the work already happening and to keep creating workplaces where people feel heard, understood and supported throughout the year.
So today, let’s raise awareness, share resources and start conversations, and tomorrow, let’s keep going (and if you need some help with that, you know we're here for you, just get in touch).
