On , the MAMA Trial team is proud to highlight our ongoing research into improving care for pregnant women living with inflammatory arthritis.

The MAMA Study is designed to find out whether it is better for women who have inflammatory arthritis and are pregnant to temporarily stop or to continue taking biologic medications.

Both continuing and stopping the use of biologics beyond 28 weeks of pregnancy are routine practice in the UK; this varies between hospitals. The MAMA Study is looking to provide an answer on which is the better approach.

Visit www.npeu.ox.ac.uk/mama/participants to find out more about MAMA and how you can join the study.

I wanted to start a family straight after getting married, so it was important that I find out how to do that safely on my arthritis medication.
